Help- map screwy [files included]

Hey. I've been mucking around with a test map, just trying all these different things to practice with Hammer, and I've been having several problems, the latest of which I can't seem to solve. At the end of the post I'll link to the files for both the map and compiled map, so you can look at them and see if you can help.

1) Everything that reflects [glass, etc], reflects some kind of purple and black square texture, and what causes this appears to be random. How i solve the problem is random and temporary as well.

2) The Combine soldier does not move around from his position. He is not clipping or stuck either, as far as I'm aware.

3) The trashcan has become invisible again, and always does whenever I move it from one spot to another. I keep changing the diferent props_physics type, but it doesn't do anything anymore. [By the way, I want it to have physics].

4) The water is screwed up. I could get it to work [after a lot lot lot of hassle] as directx7, but this new texture does not work. It looks like a void, and it only goes to half what it's supposed to.

5) I have no idea how to create lights.. oops :(

6) While I'm at it, does anybody know how to change the strength/health of func_breakable_surf glass? I mean, so it takes more shots to do the damage. The health value does not affect it.

1) this can happen when u tab out of hl2 instead of closing it.. just restart hl2 and it should be fine. the engine gets kindof screwed when tabbing..

5) create a light entity (there are several ones.. point, spot, environment...)

1) Alright, I never considered that it was HL2. Yeah, I do alt tab out when I map. I'll disregard it in the future.. thanks :)

5) I'll muck around with it a bit more, then. There should be some tuts around, I'll have a look.
