Help me im confused!!!!!

I'm confused, after hearing the sad news of the delay i went to check what amazon.co.uk said the relece date was ( i know that i shouldent go by retailers relece dates but i had to check!) the page on the PC & video games rout daid dec 1st 2003 but on my account page the despatch date is still oct 1st! Help me!!!!
