Um... there are plenty doing the later. And morals are based in religion so you're not going to find the former.
To be fair, I don't recall anybody questioning the moral stature of religious people themselves. Just because we think belief in a god is nonsensical does not mean we believe them to be evil, corrupted, or even stupid. We just think they have a blindspot specifically when it comes to this, which can adversely affect their attitudes to other things. And sometimes they come at the expense of others. But by no means are you an immoral being. And there are plenty of very intelligent theists out there, so that's not to say they're all dumb either.
I at least haven't tried to convey that, really. Even if it may sometimes seem like it. Our problems are with the idea, less so with the people. People are usually only singled out only if they start crossing the line (ie. Fred Phelps). But that doesn't mean we won't get testy if theists forgo all reasoning when this matter is brought up.
