help please..

i'm stuck and i can't go on. i'm playing half life 2 and i am currently on the little motor boat going down the river. i have passed the house where 2 guys and that little thing try to kill you, and where you have to move the barrel out of the way so the crane drops down and gives you supplies. i'm stuck after that... i went further down, to the left i see 3-4 openins with bars on them and i can't get through, to the right, it says X as in don't go here, i went anyways and the guys dropped me supplies out of the helicopter. i walked through the little tunnel back there where there are 3 barrels and all around there but nothing. i even somehow climbed up where there's hand rails above the water pool but there's nothign up there. please help, what do i do now, where to go? i know someone on here knows. thanks guys

Pick up the barrels, swim under the water and put the barrels under the cage thing, they will raise the platform so you can use it as a ramp.

Use the bridge as a ramp to jump over the water and continue ahead.

bump... i got to the part where that "evil doctor guy" just went into the teleport device and is ascending up... iraced all the way to the top, managed to destroy the 2 ships that were shooting at me, looked around and a few secs later it said something like "mission failed". what am i supposed to do there?

oh and a bit off topic, i'm also playing the first half life, and have no clue whatsoever what i'm supposed to do. i have gotten to the part where you have to turn teh big fan on, it blows you up, then you turn the generator on... what do i do after the generator, or whatever it is, is turned on?? i know someone here can help me.

i wouldn't ask but i've been trying and trying and can't figure it out. yes i'm dumb

HL2 - use the GG to grab the power ball things and shoot them at the big circle thing. You are trying to hit all the things spinning around it that protect it,then the green(?) circle thing they were protecting.

Then when the smiley face can be seen, press x three times fast, run to alyx, press h while pressing towards her, and you can make gordon start to dry hump her, and then press g twice, and the G-Man will join in. :naughty:
