Well when i open open hl or cs source (Bought the game) it doesnt open even tough it says its opening noting happens it might be a effects crad ..

is thre a way i can still play?

Weird...sounds kinda like what was happening when HL2DM came out and nobody could start any of their games because the servers were to buys.

i open source
i go to my games
i try to open up a game (Half life 2)
it says "Preparing to play halflife 2"
but then when that goes away noting happens...

what im thinking is it might be my effect card that it sicks and cant read game....

but is thre a way i can still play?

What are your PC specs?

if it doesnt play, it probably isnt your graphics card. Try reinstalling your game.

You mean Video Card, right? Sol why dont you tell us what kind of video card you have? Or better yet, your full system specs. Have you updated your video drivers/OS/directx recently?

Right click on the Steam icon in the lower right corner and select Monitor.
Are any of the games you mention still downloading content? If so, the game is not complete on your machine.

If you have HL2, CSS etc fully installed on your machine and it is just a matter of crashing, specs would help.

Windows version etc
