Heroes \\ Season 2

I think it's plausable that Adam Monroe is related to Claire somehow.

Maybe her grandfather on her mother's side?

Or... maybe he's Nathan and Peter's father? He was in the company and we've never seen his face. I know he "died", but he could've staged it.

So is Adam the bad guy "thats worse than sylar in season 2" according to tim kring?

Good episode, but the motives of Adam seem a bit weak, especially as Kensei with Hiro. "Oh noes, he kissed my gurl, lets kill 'em all and make Hiro suffer whenever I can!"

I'm sure he developed other motives over time.

I totally saw the Adam and Kensei thing coming up at the start of the latest episode.

I read on another forum that Nikki and Jessica had merged at the end of season 1. Does anyone know anything about that?

Yes and no.

I really can't say, Jessica's personality is still evident... but I believe Nikki has the most control plus you don't see her talking to Jessica in mirrors anymore.

Thank god for that... that was annoying.

Yeah the way Bob (Bald glasses dude) put it, it sounded like he developed a "We should rule the world instead of normal people" mentality.

I sware this show is starting to become exactly Rising stars.

Oh man the things I would do to Kristen Bell... :o

edit: Great episode and holy shit there's only 3 ****ing episodes left?
The season just started! ****ing Writer's Strike. God damn it.

Pretty nice episode. I really wanted to see what Hiro's dad's power was, though!

Adam didn't mention Hiro at all, he actually seems like a pretty nice guy. He probably has no clue when or where Hiro lives. Odds are he was forgiven him, although that does seem to likely.

When he discovers that Peter can travel in time he's probably going to wonder where he got that power from. That might lead to him leaving his previous mission of "saving the world" to start trying to kill Hiro.

^
Good episode...

I'm depressed though... stupid writer's strike.

EDIT: Err the ^ was meant for xlucidx. hehe.

He has the power to die!

Im really hoping Adam turns out to be murky gray at best instead of downright evil, like sylar is. I think Sylar does a fine job of being that guy. I just hope Adam has motives other than "hate hiro, oh and us heroes rule"

Holy ****, too bad they had to rush the season like this though. :(

Great episode.

Went from ****ed up to... ****ed up in a good way.

Greatest episode this season. Holy shit.

Noah is pretty much the most badass character on the show.

Good episode.

I hope Mohinder knew that they would save Bennet, otherwise the writers screwed up his character pretty bad.

I still don't get why he trusts them so much, though.

And we STILL don't know what Hiro's dad's power was!

Response to criticism

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Heroes creator Tim Kring commented on criticism of season two, and the series' 15% decline in the ratings.[49] Kring said that he felt he had made mistakes with the direction of season two. He had thought that the audience was looking for a "build-up of characters and the discovery of their powers", similar to that of season one, when viewers were instead looking for "adrenaline."

Kring also outlined what he felt were problems with plot development, stating that the sophomore season "took too long to get to the big-picture story",[49] explaining that Peter's vision of the viral armageddon should have occurred in the first episode instead of the seventh. He feels that it would have been better to introduce new characters within the context of the main storyline, as with Elle, rather than in unattached arcs such as that of Maya and Alejandro. Kring also admitted that he should have resolved the "Hiro in Japan" storyline much more quickly, and that the romantic stories aren't working well. With regards to Claire and West, and Hiro and Yaeko, he said "I've seen more convincing romances on TV. In retrospect, I don't think romance is a natural fit for us."[49]

Despite all of that, which some may be true to certain degrees, I still love this show... I eat it up with a spoon and can't wait for more.

Best thing I watch on TV.

...Except for Lost. Nothing beats that.

I think it's great that a creator can admit mistakes like that, as it shows a great potential for improvement.

I haven't seen Lost, and I don't intend to.

And yeah, it's very big of him to admit mistakes he sees... instead of pretending it's 100% perfect like most others.

There's one thing I don't understand. Angela said Adam was over 400 years old.

That means that he was at least 64 years old in 1671 when Hiro went back in time, which means he had stopped aging already. However, his healing abilities came as a suprise. Didn't he notice he hadn't aged a bit for the last 40 years?

Don't think that was meant to be precise, 400 years sounds better then 363 or something similar.

Great episode, but the entire thing about bringing dead people back to life using blood transfusions is worrying me. It's pretty ridiculous if they can just bring back dead characters whenever they want to.

Worst episode ever.
Everything was so predictable.

This show really turned into shit. :(

Awesome episode!

But why does Pater trust Adam so much? Sure, he repaired his brother, but that doesn't mena he has to buy everything Adam tells him. I wish Sylar would've killed Maja instead, I hate her a lot more than I hate Alejandro.

Also an interesting point, it seems from the dialogue like the "immortals" (Peter, Adam and Claire) won't survive a shot to the head.

Well if the bullet was removed they could. Now if it was a shotgun like victoria was about to do than, yeah because there wouldn't be any brain left to regenerate >_>

But yeah this happened twice in the first season, when claire got the stick stuck in her head and didn't regenerate until it was removed, same goes for Peter when that piece of glass got stuck in his head.

Not a good episode tbh. The last part doesn't even make sense, Hiro's prime motive to kill Adam is that he wants to release the virus, instead of telling that to Peter which, because he's been told the same thing about Adam by two independent sources, should make Peter really question Adam and certainly make him not follow Adam blindly. Yet, Hiro states his motivation as "he killed my father"...

I didn't like this episode very much... and I think it's because I don't feel how it can be reasonably wrapped up in the last episode that will air.

****ing writer's strike... I probably would have loved how they planned it if the strike never happened.

He's Japanese man... clearly not everything they do makes complete sense.

Don't hate me for that one... it was in complete good humor.

But Hiro didn't know that Peter knew anything about the virus. It takes much less time to say "He killed my father", than to explain about the virus.

He froze time, why not just say:

"He killed my father, but only because he hates me because I went back to the past 400 years ago and put my wakazashi in his girlfriend's saya, if you know what I mean. Also, he's going to release a virus that's going to kill billions, but that's unimportant. Now let me rush at you holding my sword at an awkward angle, screaming loudly so you know I'm attacking."

What an awesome episode. I can't wait for the next season/volume to start! OMG Sylar.

Holy shit Hiro burying adam alive.

****ing cold Hiro.

And I saw the whole nathan thing coming as soon as he started his speech. Looks like it was noah who shot him too.

I was thinking that Noah shot Nathan too. *shrug* Maybe it's a new guy.

theories that I have for the next chapter of Heroes:

1. Sylar recruits people to form a group of villians.
2. Sylar uses his future painting abilities to see where Adam is buried, goes there, and along with Adam, start said 'group of villians'
3. Good Guys vs. The Company vs. Villians
4. Nikki makes a comeback. Damn, she's hot. Lol, pun.

Noah survived a shot in the head, why can't Peter. Why can't Hiro just fly around time willy nilly and kill whoever he wants whenever? Why does he always go places when Peter is around. Why doesn't Peter give his brother some blood after he got shot.

Wow, I didn't think I could hate Sylar more, but I could. He really, really needs to die.

Good episode overall. It was sad to see Nathan go, but he will probably be healed by Peter's blood. Was it just me that thought that Nathan assasain looked like Sylar? Pity Niki had to go, not because I liked her character very much, but because it will tear up Micah.

I hope Claire will interact more with the other heroes next season.

I don't think we have seen the last of Adam yet.
