Heroes ..

I wanted to, but I missed it, 2nd episode is on tomarrow, I'll watch that, looks alright, is it?
 
Yeah, I saw the first episdoe and had no idea what to expect. Suffice it to say, it was awesomely awesome. Totally exceeded my expectations and I can't wait for the next one. It is really well-done and my pic for best show this season so far (only because I have no idea where Korgoth got to!).

I watched the first episode and tonight's episode. I can't wait for the third episode because this show is very awesome.

cOOL show, watched E1 & 2......... So far 8.5 out of 10*.

Hopfully the rating can get higher by the time E5 hits.

I am absolutley loving this show after the first two episodes. And BTW you can watch the latest episode right off of the official site.
 
I'm loving the show thus far. I expected it to be cheesy but there were very few scenes that made me cringe (which is very uncommon when it comes to television shows and myself). Hiro is by far my favorite.
 
I just saw the pilot and it seems pretty promising. Damn the "To be continued..."
 
I've watched the third episode tonight. It was very cool. The cheerleader girl, in the end... I was like HOLY SHIT.... an Hiro, he's cool. I probably like him the most.
 
Yeah, I was surprised too! What I don't get is how up to now, she 'dies' and then gets right back up. This time, she is dead for a while, turns blue and everything, then comes right back up on the autopsy table!? It'll be interesting to see how they handle all of this. Its a great great show!!

Anyone know how many episodes are scheduled? They have sort of limited it to a few more weeks due to the November deadline of NY going nuclear...ideas?

She came back to life because the coroner pulled the tree branch out of her neck, I'm guessing internal obstructions have to be removed before she can...um..respawn?


NBC has annouced that they've picked up the show for a full season.

Man, Hiro is one bad-ass coming from the future with the Samurai sword on his back and such. Very cool. I guess it stands to reason he is the most powerful on on the show given his name.

Awesome news that it has been picked up! I just hope their writers are clever enough to carry this on through a whole season and a whole long run over years and years!!!:bounce:
 
Damn i love this show, pretty trippy.

I wasn't expecting Hiro to come with a samurai sword and a soul patch.
 
God knows what this is about, i've not watched it but Shens tells me i should, and that it's been similar to lost in format. Seems a tad crazy.

What's not to understand? It seems Hiro can distort time and space around himself excluding certain things he wants to interact with (like when he messed with the cards in poker, the roulette ball, etc). He came back in time to give what's-his-face (Peter?) a message.

I'm interested to see what Ali Larter's character can do. I have a feeling once she masters her power she'll be able to split into 2 people. Looks like Peter (?) has the power to absorb nearby abilities. That crazy black dude can probably suppress powers and mess with peoples' minds. And Sylar (if the black dude isn't Sylar) can do all kinds of things: telekinesis, not die :p, etc. I bet Claire will be reluctant to join up with the other heroes but will once she realizes who her father is and what he's trying to do.

So far I'm really liking the show. Hiro is the most fun to watch so far.

I think that they hot mom not only has a split personality, the characteristics of the personalities also manifest physically. Her regular self is weak in mind and body, her alternate self is strong in mind and has superhuman strength...

Sylar or however it's spelled is the hot mom's estranged husband and his abilities are not only to phase in and out of materials, but to also manipulate the material he is touching, hence the pictures of the people with the top of their skulls missing and large holes in their abdomen.

I can't think of anything else...
 
excellent show, quality story line.

5 episodes so far, amazing.
 
I don't know how he managed to do it but the tone of Hiro's Japanese translated the comedy of his lines through the subtitles. I laughed at his little thing for waffles and his, "Maybe there're instructions" bit.

Anyways. Great ep. I don't think Sylar is DL (split-personality's wife). In the ep where we get a small glimpse of Sylar you can tell he's white and actually looks kind of like House (from the show House MD that is). Sylar also has telekinetic powers (the police investigation of these murdered people said that no physical force was used on the victims or instruments of death as in no contact) and possibly others.

I want to know what happened with the mind-reader cop when he was taken by Claire's dad and that black guy that can mess with minds. In that ep he said, "Take it all" and the cop came out on the other side with memory. He said the same thing about Brody and this time Brody doesn't even know who he is.

EDIT: I'm also interested in seeing what that RNA symbol has to do with everything. I figure it's probably somehow involved in their abilities and mutated DNA but why do they all draw it, wear it, etc. ?
 
Hiro was awesome when he came back from the future. I can totally imagine a Season 6 where they all have cheesy costumes like the X-Men.

And I wonder how what's-his-face gets the scar on his face. The painting shows glass or something flying towards him.
 
At first i was really iffy about this show, but the last few episodes have completely blown me away. I'm very impressed

Sylar isn't DL imo, i think DL will probably turn out to be a good character by the end of the season. Also, I'm willing to bet that the artist doesn't need heroin to paint the future(Peter didn't), but at this point he thinks its the only way he can.

/EDIT: if i just flew half way across the nevada desert and knew that my brother could do that as well, i don't think i would be very skeptical if somebody told me they could manipulate time.

Gah, I still haven't seen this.

None of the episodes on NBC's site works for me.
I click the episode link and nothing happens.
