It was great as always, but I agree with Hiro's blog that it didn't live up to the expectations of last week's cliffhanger with future-Hiro and all. Still great television though.
 
It's an awesome show, confusing at first but good.
I've got a feeling that they just wiped the cops memory, he probably found out allot with the FBI.
 
Just saw episode 6. Wow. The plot just keeps getting thicker and thicker.... I love it.
 
You know what i just realized? The guy who can hear peoples thoughts played the Pilot on the first episode of LOST, interesting:D

havn't seen the new ep yet, taped it yesturday, will watch tonight.
 
Isn't it true that Peter can't fly or paint the future on his own? Doesn't he just gain the abilities of whomever is around him at the time? That might make for some pretty neat encounters....

According to Wikipedia, he gains their power for about a day.
 
Am I the only one that thinks Nikki is annoying and thinks her "power" kinda sucks at this point. It feels like such a waste of time watching her :( They lay the "I'm 2 different people" thing on WAY too thick.

Apart from her I like everything else about the show a lot.

I wonder if Claire's parents have powers they're hiding or if Claire is a first generation ability-user.

Also, they keep lending evidence to Claire's friend being gay :p Apparently he has a myspace page that says his sexual preference is "unknown" or something. Then there was the accusation that he got a hard-on in the guys locker room. Now this ep had him say a little line in response to Claire's asking if he was flirting, "No...believe me, no."

Didn't you see that it seemed claire's father(galsses guy) had hired "the real parents" to act as if they were claire's parents. At least that is what I got out of it.

Yeah, now we know who sylar is... and why he's hunting people down. Awesome. Rest of the episode was meh... filler really.
 
Does anyone else hope that through some twist of events that the redhead from the diner isn't dead? I'd really like to know that Hiro saved her somehow, even if he didn't think he did.

Well yeah. I took that hint when they had the awkward walk to the car, the fact that he hadn't been able to locate them before and whatnot.

Anyways, it's already been confirmed her mom at least had died before but had powers.

I had predicted before that Sylar was taking powers by either eating or using his powers on their brains and I was right :D

Also, in a few weeks (Heroes time) that nuclear explosion is supposed to happen so we know Sylar will attack radioactive man and try/succeed in getting his power (depending on Hero intervention) and rage to destroy NY.

Also, it seems Peter is the one that will have to stand up against Sylar. He's the only real choice. Sylar has loads of powers, Peter can absorb and use them along with fellow heroes' powers to face Sylar.

Of course this is assuming he escapes wherever they're holding him and continues his rampage.
 
Finally watched the first 6 episodes yesterday, Wow...
This show is amazing.

Ali Larter's character, Nikki I think... is pretty annoying though.
She's pretty much in denial or something about her powers.

I really like Claire though, the invincibility thing's pretty sweet. :D
Hiro can be Jar-Jar Binks annoying at times... but mostly he's a pretty cool character.

Well with more in the season to go, NY hasn't been placed in serious jeopardy yet...and there aren't any other big villains out there (Radioactive man is just running scared I think, not a supervillain). I think Sylar will break free from Mr. Bennet and friends and try to kill radioactive man so he can nuke NY.

I figured Claire would be his rescuer, much like he rescued her...IE saying she saw him and he didn't do it. Though explaining all the blood would be hard.

This show is pretty awesome, though some parts were predictable..others are still shrowded in mystery. Maybe someone can point to me the whole "hollow him out" part. Curious if he is a bad guy still. At first I figured he was, but then he was doing everything to save the girl...I don't know, this is all just confusing, and watching all 10 episodes in a day was no good....lol.

Although it's very interesting what's happening to Peter (possibly the lasting effects of Peter absorbing Sylar's many powers?). I also wonder why he's the one that apparently blows up NY. It seemed beyond his control almost.

Also, what's the Haitian guy's motive I wonder?

Now it'd be a CRAZY twist if Sylar is the one that got blasted in the face with the gun and died and not Eden (Eve? whatever).
 
How the hell did Sylar get out? And why didn't get just escape before that? Maybe waiting for the opportunity to get the persuasive power?

The Haitian was suppressing his powers before. Then Eden er whatever her name is decided to be an idiot and try to kill Sylar without Haitian-guy's help. At least it looks like she put a round in her head so hopefully he can't get her power.

Yeah, the look on Sylars face when she pointed the gun at her head says that he won't be getting that power.
 
Is Heroes on break? I'd hate for it to have been a season swap on an episode like 11. D:
 
Well NBC wants their ratings high for their biggest shows. Ratings drop like a rock in the holilday season since everybody is usually busy spending time with their families or out of town, shopping, etc.

I'm glad Scrubs started recently and will fill the gap a little. Also, Battlestar is still running :D
 
I've noticed Jericho is off too....damn, this is going to be ONE boring month to two..

That reminds me. There was this commercial for comedy central, something about being a hero or something. Had Joe Dirt, Orange County, and something else on it. The line at the end was great...

"Save the mullet..
Save the world"

I roffled.
 
Boy, that was a really good episode...I like what's going on with Claire...I can't wait to see what actually goes on with it.
