LOL SPOILERS :D

Wow that sucked at the end when they had to wipe this guy's memory, and about damn time we get some more info on this Linderman fellow.

****Spoiler****

wtf Hiro's father is a top dog of the whole mutant tagging and bagging operation?? Never saw that coming.. Wonder if he knows about hiro's little tricks.. Maybe he is protecting his kid just like HRG.

Obviously he knows. Hiro told them even though he reacted as if his son was crazy.

This last episode was awesome. Sad at the end. :(

Last episode was made of win, sex and crystal meth mixed with orange juice.

Obviously he knows. Hiro told them even though he reacted as if his son was crazy.

But if he knows then why he does let Hiro wonder about in America? He is well aware that the power sucking, head cleaving Sylar is on the loose. To Sylar Hiro's brain would be like a delicacy...I would assume that Hiro would be much safer back in Japan. Why don't he drag Hiro back to Japan?

I wonder if Hiro's dad is really still involved with "The Company" still though. It was a long time ago and something could've happened where he decided to just assume his cover as reality or something. If he really knew about the dangers he definitely would've dragged Hiro back to Japan.

Last night was pretty violent ,that looked really horrifying when that blond girl came walking out the house like that.

Yeah, tears actually welled-up when they were about to erase HRG's memory. So sad!!!

Hopefully Hiro's dad realizes what needs to be done somehow and knows that his son plays a very important role in it...or maybe his mind was wiped clean of all this too and he knows nothing of his former life as head of the operation? Hmm, but Hiro was in both...I am cornfused but I love the show--finally some sh1t actually went down!!

That was disturbing yet cool. She came out looking, well, charred and burnned to looking immensely doable in less than 5 seconds.

If I was the people outside, I'd be thinking, "WTF" for that matter.

Hehe, yeah.

I bet the Haitian went, "Alright everybody crowd around, crowd around."

*BZZT* Bye bye memory of odd explosions/light and Charred Claire turning into Normal Claire.

:p

Is it me, or was it funny that Claires hair was the only thing that didn't get roasted off, even though..it should have been one of the first things to go :p

Only thing wrong with it was food coloring!!

It was BSPlayer and Windows Media Player that were the problem. VLC player works fine. Luckily I haven't read any spoilers from this thread.

That's why I use Media Player Classic...i never have any of those problems, personally.

I wonder if everybody is going to get cancer now. Claire's dad had some pretty massive burns

Just watched the entire series over the past 2 days. Amazingly cool stuff, right up there imo with House etc, the really advertised programs on atm.

Can't wait for the next episode.

I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next episode. I wonder when Peter is going to get his thing straightened out....

I didn't like that latest ep with the house blowing up. The dialogue and directing was crap, and the mind-reader guy turned into Claire's dad's bum-buddy at the flick of a switch.

Why did he turn on the guy he was helping so quickly?

I didn't get the ending either. Why did they shoot him so he wouldn't die? Why not just NOT shoot him at all?

On the contrary I tht this was one of the best eps. It really fleshed out Mr. Bennets character as a man in a terrible dilemma between his loyalty to "the company" and his love for Claire. He finally turned the corner in my book from being a "grey" character to being an ultimately good guy caught up in a bad job which he cant quit without being rubbed off... or worse.

Matt of course never wanted a "held up at gunpoint" situation. He being a genuine good guy just wanted the info abt what "the company" did to them. Although he tried to smooth things over with the suicidel Ted the situation got out of hand very quickly. Becuase if Ted blows he is likely to take out the whole neighbourhood. Matt just couldn't let this happen so he chose to help Bennet to somehow subdue Ted.

Ted got a non lethal shot because when the "supervisor" was abt to shoot Bennet jumped in his way causing the supervisor to lose his aim. If it was a clean shot (as the supervisor probably intended) Ted would just die without much incident.

I think they shot him and they could fake an escape from him taking them both to the company... his memory was wiped so he didnt know where they were or anything. So now Claire and the Hatian guy are running away from the company.

It was really interesting about the invisible guy :) Loved this ep. The series has been realy needing some background on Bennet :D

The shooting thing was to convince his supervisor that the Haitian took Claire against his will. If he comes back fine, it looks like he helped Claire get away (which he did)

Holy balls this show is getting good. Can't wait to see the Sylar-Peter confrontation pan out and I'm looking forward to getting some more info about Linderman.

I also thought of something interesting.

What if the nuke/bomb/Peter/Ted/Sylar (whoever/whatever it ends up being) DOES go off and the rest of the show (Season 2 and beyond) is based around a post-apocalyptic NY and a world that has general knowledge of the heroes and their evolutionary abilities? That would be a pretty unique way to handle it that most shows don't even attempt...having the good guys lose.

Oh man, the ending to this episode made me scream pretty damn good. I can't believe they let it end like that. Now Bennett is pretty FUBAR...Oh man, what a cliffhanger.

Yeah, that was a nice one. The fight between Sylar and Peter should be awesome!!!

Hmm, I can only imagine. His head already started to get split...and hair fell. I wonder if the regeneration will be fast enough to stop Sylar on that mark. I forsee Peter being invisible and Sylar using his hyper hearing to fight back. Oh damn, Can't wait.

Going along that line, how can Clair (or for that matter peter) die? Their cells regenerate so even if they are cut to pieces, they would just grow back wouldn't it?

If u break it down, Sylar has Telekinetic's (and knows how to use it!) super hearing ( More a weakness than a strength at this point), ability to melt inanimate objects and Super Duper Rage! While Peter has Healing, Invisibility, Telekinesis, flight , mind reading .... but doesn't know how to use them well enough.

I'll put my money on Peter... but with this show u can never be sure.

Don't forget Peter can stop time. My money's on Peter too. Possibly coming back while the top of his head is off and beating the living crap out of Sylar.

Did Peter ever stop time by himself? I remember him meeting the future Hiro and might have absorbed Hiro's power.... but I think Peter isn't aware of the fact that he can stop time...yet.

I don't think so. Remember when Claire had that stick lodged in her brain/neck? She stayed dead until the stick was removed so I think it's safe to say that she can only regenerate when her body is able to be alive at that point. So she can survive something like massive blood loss but not a missing head or anything (my theory anyways).

Hmmm... but to be alive again Clair would have needed to regenerate in the first place wouldn't she? A logical event series would be,

1) Stick is stuck in brain - Dead
2) Surgeon removes stick - Still dead
3) Body starts to regenerate - Still dead
4) Regeneration complete - Comes back to life

So it comes down to the point u made about being "able to be alive". With a stick in your brain u cant be alive , for example.

But if thats the case can she be "able to be alive" with a bullet in her body? Like when matt shot her?

This is confusing.. My brain hurts...

I think its all with the brain. In the episode with claire and the stick in head her powers didn't work until they removed the stick. Brains obvisouly have something to do with it because thats what sylar collects. So as long as nothing stops her brain from functioning (Or atleast the part of her brain that controls the powers) than shes good.

Gotcha. So if something happens to the brain they cannot regenerate. Btw does anyone know what exactly Sylar do with the brains?

another thing I noticed is that in one of Isaccs newest paintings the guy who had his brain removed wore clothes very similar to the ones Sylar was wearing!
Maybe Peter does a cool reversal?

You know, after watching Heroes I fell almost stupid to keep on watching Lost.

I had a theory back when Sylar was still largely unknown that he was eating the brains since he mentioned "the hunger" was getting stronger in the message he left for Mohinder's dad. Since they kind of explained his power as being able to "see how things work" I'm not sure he does eat them, but it still seems like the most likely thing to do with the brains.

The guy in the painting Issac made is himself. I got a freeze-frame of one of the shots and it's him in his work area with a gun next to the body (just like when Hiro first went forward in time). You can see an unfinished painting and jars with brushes in them as well.

You're right, I missed the unfinished painting earlier...

Isaac gets plenty of warning about what is going to happen to him. First from Hiro and then from the paintings. But he will still probably die since I cant remember a single time a painting went wrong( Even when people are trying to stop the events from the paintings from happening)...at least so far..
