Heroes ..

....Heroes...so...close

I can taste it.

This is going to be the most orgasmic thing to happen since Prison Break Season 1

Zomg!1 I just watched it!!!

Sylar's little scene was cool with the glass...

And the ending! Hiro!!! Zomg!!!!

Good episode, but next week's looks like a waste of time...ugh...just get to Hiro fighting the dinosaur!!!

Oh yeah....that was really awesome. I loved this episode. Everything starting to unravel...I can't wait to see Clair with brown hair.

Yeah, you gotta be able to interprete these things.

OMG It's the 24th in Australia! Is the new episode airing tonight in the US?

can somebody tell me what happened at the start of the episode? How did Peter not get lobotomized?

Gah, I totally forgot about this show!...

So much to to catch up on, I only watched the first 8 episodes. :|

can somebody tell me what happened at the start of the episode? How did Peter not get lobotomized?

He started to heal it up, then peter was like *RAWR PUSH* and Sylar flew....then Peter went inviso, and Sylar was like *Oh that's nifty....shoot glass everywhere*

i bet u are all in season 2, sad asian countries like mine are still in season 1..

I'm starting to like the new Peter, he's less of a wuss and more aggressive.

I'm sure being able to regenerate, go invisible, use telekinesis, etc would turn you into an aggresive badass. :p

Now I wonder how they are going to work with Peter on this one. He was around Sylar who has a shit ton of abilities, does Peter inherit ALL of those now? Or just the ones he knows Sylar has?

And am I the only one who thinks the music is rather ominous when Nathan tells Claire, "Then you can come home to your family" like something is really horrible about that?

Something's wrong with my speakers, so I get a really burky sound. As a result, I couldn't make out half of what they said in the episode. Still good, though.

Excellent question. I think they have to give him all of them, even the ones he doesn't know about since he didn't know of some of the others previously, right? Good luck to the writers though...:E

Yeah, there was something about it, but I still can't tell what. Maybe it was just dramatic effect and nothing more...but maybe not!

Well, it's true, he probably does have them...but until he knows what they are, he won't be able to control them. And it was said that he uses the ability by thinking of the person, like when he first regenerated by thinking of Claire...if he thought of Sylar, would they all hit him at the same time, causing another breakdown?

Yeah, there was something about it, but I still can't tell what. Maybe it was just dramatic effect and nothing more...but maybe not!

It's true, it might have just been a dramatic effect...but it just seemed ominous as hell.

I think it is a given that everybody is related to everybody else in the end. And I agree that Peter is much less annoying now. I think it mostly has to do with the haircut Sylar gave him though.

I don't know, that haircut seemed pretty tiny to me. I think it's the cheerleader. He's got the pedosense goin'.

Regen Claire style, like the tree branch.

When he "died", his eyes went misty, suggesting all his powers were passively active maybe?

Yeah, I wonder about that misty eyed thing...I wonder if it's just the effect that the show gives to show "dead" people.

Dead people who can come back alive.

I found the big showdown between Peter and Sylar to be a bit anticlimactic....after getting hyped up for nearly 5 weeks nothin meets your expectations I guess. Damn hiatuses!!!

Why did future Hiro sound angry at present Hiro? When he said "you" he sounded like someone who had a unwelcome relative pop by unannounced.

And regarding the powers I think Peter absorbs a power only when he experiences it at work himself. When Peter jumped from the building in the very first episode why didn't he fly? His brother was there and in that situation one might assume that he was thinking about his brother. So based on what we have learned he *should* have flew, but he didn't. But then he actually saw Nathan fly and only after that Peter flew. Maybe Pete needs a visual connection with the power and the emotion someone might evoke in him to successfully duplicate an ability.

Another example would be the first encounter with Sylar. Why did Pete suddenly do Telekinesis when Claude was beating the hell out of him? Why didn't he do any other number of powers that Sylar had and he presumably absorbed? Thats because Pete has only seen Sylar using telekenisis. His mind could only link the emotion with the power that he has seen.

Or I could be horribly, horribly wrong.

I'd hate myself too if I were Hiro from the past, he's such a dork.

Read the online comic that is on the Heroes website, and it might explain a few things about the storyline...

For instance, Linderman and Petrelli(Peter and Nathan's father) fought together in the Vietnam War as part of a special group. You would know that Linderman might actually be a decent guy....

Huh? Are you sure you got the right quote? I didn't say anything about the storyline in my post, just my view on how Peter absorbs powers....Did you receive any suspicious looking letters that had a powdery substance in them today? lol.

And for the record, I do read the novels.

yeah to get his spinal fluid to make a new "list". But he destroyed his computer so sylar couldnt get it. UNFORTUNATELY sylar sees a slip of paper and guess who's on it? if you guessed Isaac Mendz then youre right. I catch up with tv-links.co.uk They host sites that have episodes so it isnt illegal. It's recently updated.

Did anyone find it strange that Mohinder didn't kill Sylar when he had knocked him out?

I think somebody posed the same question on the sci-fi.com forums

I think he wanted to ensure that he got Peter out of the place as quick as possible. Even though Peter was theoretically dead, Sylar could of gained a few new traits, including Invisibility and Claire's Regeneration, by chewing on Peter's Grey Matter. As Sylar already has a God Complex, that wouldn't necessarily serve anybodies interest.

I think I said, "OMGWTF" in at least 3 different parts of this last episode. It's just...wow. Sylar can go to hell.

SCENES FROM NEXT EPISODE! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
Did anybody see the previews, where Hiro had time stopped, and Sylar was just standing there...then when Hiro got close enough to slice, Sylar moved his eyes to look at him? Ohhh boy did that make me jump slightly. I get into this show real good.

I was very confused about the whole Bennett/Claire thing. Why was he SO confused looking *fake I know* about Claire being alive...I don't know, it seems like everything that was done in the past to stop the bomb/save Claire happened, but then again, seems like it didn't. I really don't know.

And it looks like my theory on Sylar's paintings about Nathan being "evil" when he became president was true! I love when my theories work themselves out.

Just caught up with the show, watched 20 episodes in three days

Awesome, awesome show! No annoying characters (even the normally annoying cheerleader (Claire) and kid (Micah) characters are great). Although Peter was slightly annoying I agree, he always reminded me of Neo, but it's better now. And the series managed to maintain a sense of mystery for 20 episodes.

This is super heroes done right, not that movies like Spiderman and X-Men do a bad job, but they're too flashy and 'men in tights'-ish to come across as convincing and believable. They don't suck you in.

Holy s**t!!!! This episode deserves an 11/10!! F***ing Sylar!

I'm just lost for words.

Yeah, that was one heck of an episode and I totally thought it was going to be a throw-away!! Shame on me!!

Can't wait to see what happens in the real world of the past!! Sylar had better F _ _ _ I N G die by Hiro's blade!!!!!

Something I am not clear on: was the famous "save the cheerleader, save the world" wrong all along then? Future Hiro thinks the bomb went off because Sylar regenerated after getting stabbed, because he killed Claire, but Sylar wasn't the bomb, Peter was. So did saving Claire have any impact on the future?

I'm beginning to get the impression (and starting to hope) that there's no way they can stop Peter from blowing up and it is inevitable. I really like the faction battles we saw in this latest episode.

Maybe Sylar gets radiation mans powers, and then Sylar gets peter in a position to detonate?

Arrgh, mind****, get the Season Finale on already!

I wonder what Hiro's dad's connection to whatever organisation Primatech is... is. He said 'We get Claire if her powers develop', didn't he? They didn't follow up on that yet, though...

They tried. That's why Claire had to go on the run. And get Bennet shot, etc etc. That..guy..that was Bennets boss was talking about taking her back for their own gain.
