Yeah, this is the final week for alot of my favorite shows.

# In the final scene, Kensei is played by George Takei, who also plays Hiro's father Kaito. Part of this scene is a mirror of the first episode "Genesis" when Hiro stares at the solar eclipse.
Err, wot? BSG doesn't come back until next year except for the telemovie in September.Only a few months till BSG starts again though
Thinking the same thing, PvtRyan seems to have confirmed.Who wants to bet that Kensei is Hiro's father but he's immortal?
HAH! Just watched episode 118 and noted that when Hiro brings up the sword on the computer in Linderman's archives it's labeled CRM-114 Wikipedia beat me to it of course but I'm still proud I spotted it
Oh yeah, the finale was great, even though Sylar should have died. I want them to have accomplished something (apart from, you know, the whole not making New York burn to ashes thing.).
I dont understand that crm-114 thing...care to explain to the dummies here?
-Sylar is still alive - Hiro has failed to kill him yet again
I'm sure he killed him, he was thinking the future events and then his eyes changed

Just a theory my brother had about how Peter was able to talk to Charles. Peter has Hiro's teleport/timetravel ability since they met while on the subway. Peter also has the whole invisibily power. When he was knocked out it was those powers combining that allowed him to speak with Charles.

Zach Quinto, who portrays Sylar, has been, in my opinion, an important aspect to the series. Are there plans to make him a series regular?
Look for Sylar's character to continue on in season two.
I personally was expecting WAY TOO MUCH from the final showdown between Peter and Sylar. I wanted a sort of Neo/Smith fight (though on a TV level) and man was I disappointed.
Yeah same here. I was hoping for something really epic. That snippet they showed us from the future episode of them fighting was a lot better than this even though it lasted only a few seconds. This finale wasn't as good as I hoped for.
Oh and what the **** Peter, you have thousands of special mutant powers and you just punch the guy in the face? That was ridiculous. Sylar is at least creative with his powers.
That's what I was thinking. "I can throw him in the hair, I can fly up really high then drop him, I can stop time....ahh feck it, I'll just punch him."
Well, to be fair, Jessica could rip a grown man in two so if Peter got her powers, those punches probably had a bit extra "punch" in them (hehe, see what I did there?) but it could have been more dramatic, I agree. But then the whole mission statement of the show is to put superheroes down on ground level.

My guess is he drug himself to the manhole, and that cockroach was just symbolic, remember Genesis with Mohinder speaking of a cockroach being the perfect being, able to survive radiation/no food, water/etc.
