Heroes ..

But Peter has seen HRG before. Remember after Peter saved Clair he was in a police lockup and Clair came in to say thank you. And HRG was standing outside...tapping the glass door.

I wouldn't really call that enough of a meeting to remember anything on Peters end. He only saw him for MAYBE a second while talking to Claire. I wouldn't remember him until Claire went to give him the hug...then I'd forget when I was about to go nuclear!

You'r right. But HRG was pretty quick to guess that Pete was absorbing Ted's power when Pete's hands began to glow. Oh yeah and remember when Claude got zapped by HRG's taser and Pete rescued him? So I guess HRG was well aware of Peter.

I think HRG *what the hell does that stand for anyway, I've never figured it out.* KNEW about Peter, because he knows about most "special" people. And he's witnessed Sprauges ability first hand at his house, and seeing Peter's hands light up like that, he knew that Peter absorbed others abilities, so he knew who's he was zapping. HRGs business IS finding the special people and tracking/whatever he does to them....so I don't see why he wouldn't know about Pete.

Ironically his glasses aren't actually Horn-Rimmed.

is it can be heroes time now plies?

Pff.. no new replies?

Anyway, cool episode. Hadn't dawned on me that the "Walker System" was Molly Walker until this episode. Lots of characters dying now, wonder who else goes.

Yeah, the Walker System is pretty unique. I wonder how the confrontation with everybody is going to go. This was a pretty badass episode. The finale is next...:( I'll miss it so much.

Another setup episode, more or less. Really cool death for Lindy though. What did DL do? Crush his brain?

Some news on season 2. Apparently there is going to be a nonstop 24 episode regular season, and a 6 episode spinoff named "origins". Details here,

He punched him in the brain, he's hardcore

That is like an awesome fatality move like the ones in MK. Brain Punch!!
Too bad Lindy cant heal himself... or CAN HE?!?

Gripping, just not sure why Sylar wants to blow the **** up?
I didn't really catch the moment that he thought he should...

Plus why is he ontop of that building, he can't fly?

I think he saw the future paintings by Isaac, and has now decided he needs to follow the destiny laid out for him..

And maybe he used the stairs to get up to the roof? :p

I thought they said in that future episode that Sylar did not blow up and it was Peter but they said it was Sylar to protect Peter.

Yeah, he just thinks it's him in the painting. It's really Peter, as seen in the dream and the future episode. And it's also possible that the Nathan in the dream was Sylar, since he was posing as Nathan.

Also Sylar don't need to fly. He can teleport or something; he's done it before, we just never see it. He did it to cut off Peter when he was trying to kill Claire, and also when he killed that woman with the super hearing.

I don't know about teleportation...I've not seen him ACTUALLY use it, I'll vote it being the TK.

He used telekinesis to lift himself up and float along.

He used the elevator, and then the stairs. And he cannot teleporto, at least there is no evidence that he can.

I dunno, the way he got around Peter that first time. He was behind him, and then Peter turned around and he was gone...then he was in front of him. Seemed like a teleport to me. I could be wrong.

Maybe he just floated up really high and then dropped down. I'd like to believe he has a Nightcrawler-esque ability, though, that way he's got almost all of the X-Men powers.

Except for an Adamentium skeleton and CLAWS!

Btw what episode was that you were describing?

I think Sylar's just really in control of his powers and really good at the mind games thing.

The one where Peter saves Claire. I don't remember the number. I watched all of Heroes up to 21 in two days, so they all sort of blurred together to me.

Wonder whats up for season 2. Maybe Peter will become the new evil mastermind/psychopath.

I hear season 2 is actually gonna focus a bit on the first generation of heroes (Peter and Nathan's dad, Linderman, possibly Hiro's Dad)

Oh god... someone photoshop Hiro into Back to the Future!

There will be a 6 episode spinoff, Heroes: Origins. Which will probably focus on that.

How long 'til it airs?

I figure they will do Heroes: Origins sometime around Season 2...maybe a bit later/earlier.
NBC "bulks up" with 30 combined episodes of "Heroes" and "Heroes: Origins," an innovative new spin-off that each week will introduce a new character -- one of whom will be chosen by viewers through the "Heroes" website on NBC.com to become a cast regular the following season
