Heroes ..

But wait, since Peter is around Sylar, and Sylar has all those abilities, wouldn't Peter be able to use all Sylar's abilities AND the ones of the other heroes?

I'm pretty sure Peter stopped time when the Haitian and Mr Bennett found and tasered him and Christopher Eccleston (invisible guy).

I'm pretty sure that was telekinesis at work, not time-stopping. Just like Sylar did to Mohinders bullet in the latest ep.
 
Yeah it was telekinesis. You can tell because Mr. Invisible, and Mr. Bennet and the Haitian were still moving around and what not.

What I assume is that he actually takes apart each brain and uses his "able to see how things work" to see what parts of the brains unlock which abilities, then he changes his own brain to get the abilities.

Also if I were peter I'd just telekenesis syler's arm to his own forehead so he can't use it, then push syler back and fly out through the window.

He can, but he has to concentrate on the actual person with the ability to use it. I don't think he even knows about the different powers Sylar has except for telekinesis.

There were times when it just happened and he didn't realize it. Like when he first found the invisible guy, he was invisible without realizing it....that's how he controls them. He just might use the power without thinking....which would be neat.

And I'm forgetting...Charlie....what power did she have? She read peoples minds? The future? God I don't remember anymore, and am not at home to find out. Anyway, I really can't wait to find out what happens next week. Wait, somebody said it's done until April...is this true!??!

Is Charlie the girl that died when Syler escaped? She had the power of persuasion. Too bad girls already have that power anyways. But Syler didn't get her power because she shot herself first.

Yeah, we have to wait til late April to see what happens next and it is just killing me the way this show could go any direction at any time!! Good stuff....

In plot terms it is a pretty useless power I think. Anything that is important will be remembered anyways. The super hearing is also pretty useless except for the fact that it is a perfect counter to invisibility. I want to see how melting stuff works out. I have a feeling that it might be severely limited

Do we know it can only be limited to non-flesh items? I mean, couldn't that have only been used because of fear of hurting somebody. I figure he might be able to use it on ANYTHING if it's in his powers reach..*IE not too big like a freaking planet or something..*

True, but since then he's learned to use his abilities by choice. I doubt he'll grasp at straws trying to use some of Sylar's abilities instead of powers he knows he can use. That is, unless things don't go so well for him.

Was heroes not on today? I went to watch it, but couldn't find it... ;(

If you haven't done so already you might want to check out the awesome Heroes graphic novels.

They run parallel to the story and has lots of background info on lesser characters like Wireless( she was introduced in the novels well before she appeared on the episodes). Its pretty cool. So far 23 novels are available.

Can anyone recommend a good series for me to watch in the meantime till April 23rd? I like stuff like (apart from heroes) Dexter, Lost, PB... Is battlestar good? I heard its well into its third season... dont know whether I can get into it now..

Have you seen Smallville? It may be in it's...6th season? But it's still really good.

The only other show I can think of watching is Weeds. It's rather decent...

He'll remember every single location and names and pictures of the people found by the DNA thing. You know, he'll know most of the heroes around the world

Urgh! I cant stand smallville... watched a couple of eps.. gives me the impression of a regular teen drama with some supernatural things attached..

Anyway thanks for the suggestions! I'll check out Weeds to see if it fits the bill.

OK, so that makes it a little more probable for him to have. I am STILL waiting on the edge of my seat. I keep thinking, "MONDAY IS ALMOST HERE!..." then get uber depressed because it won't be on ;(
 
How does this show compare to the glory that is Buffy? So far haven't bothered to watch a single episode of Heroes.

To clear things up, Sylar didn't actually take Eden's powers, since she shot herself in the head, thus preventis Sylar from eating her brain and obtaining her powers.

Read the latest novels before watching the show. There are some pretty big revelations about Lindermen and his connection to the Petrellies...
