HL2 aliens and halo's flood?

It's worth noting that although they spring at you in the game, the infection forms of The Flood in Halo don't latch onto your face at all, they parasitise the victim via their spine.

I highly doubt it's possible to be original in anything in this day and age.

All games can be said to copy something else even if the developers lived under a rock since the day they were born. They all think of these games through the course of human nature. We just think that way.
