There you go all....the answer to everyones problems...

(make sure steam is running)

Another possible fix is by deleting/moving your SteamApps/account folder. Savegames can be left where they are/moved back.

Ive validated the files again (twice now!) using steam://validate/320 but it didn't work. I've also validated the half life 2 installation with steam://validate/220

Nothing works and you only have to browse the news sites and see that many have the same problem http://www.clanbase.com/news.php?nid=155153&mid=0&lid=0 , http://www.shacknews.com/ja.zz?comments=34696 http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=53180 , http://www.forumplanet.com/planethalflife/topic.asp?fid=2348&tid=1543661 etc etc :stare: instead of the majority saying wow this is cool or they dont like DM all I seem to be finding is ... nothing works now!
