Got the TF2 update this morning. Now whenever I boot a game up with the exception of HL2 itself I get an illegal operation caused by hl2.exe. Can't run anything, Episode 1, 2, TF2, Portal or any Source based game with the exception of HL2 itself.
Reinstalled Steam, uninstalled mods, made sure all the files were deleted before I reinstalled. Updated DirectX. No joy at all.
System: Intel Core 2 Duo, 3Gb RAM, 500Gb HDD space, GeForce 8800 GTS.
