Perhaps , but did it realy require your post ? its not a big deal at all.

HL2 World may have not been the place he got it from anyway lolz

Yes it is cause I typed that up and posted it on hl2world news page. So please dont tell me that.

Yes but what it sounds like is, argh here goes the spoiler tag.
The pod thing in the Ravenholm bink is filled with poison and basic headcrabs. They are teleported their by the combine. Their are 3 types of aliens. The first is headcrabs etc. The combine hate these aliens who are "native" for their planet. They scare the humans and they run to the combine for hope. But the combine dont give a shit they want to take over the earth. The antlions seem to have created their own ecosystem much like ants... The combine are the main aliens. The citadel was ported to earth to invade earth. I don't know who the G-man is though lol.
Thats what I know so far. Again this topic is VERY dangerous if you know some important things about the plot! You will spoil yourself reading the pdfs!

The black spaceship things around the level. They are in the corners everywhere. Its kinda like a virus filled with headcrabs, like in the movie "outbreak".

nice find/copy!! :D
very cool script info and background
oh and Evil^MIlk
The pod things are usually at the side of the screen, do a search for them

So.. Let me get this straight... The Combine put those crabs there so that the humans would want to come to the Combine, and believe that they really are safer under Combine ruling? That's really freaking awesome! :D

*Eli powers up the slide projector. A white image flashes on the wall of his room, where he has hung a white sheet.

Eli
Let's see now... where does this start?

The following images appear as he speaks
*Aerial view of Black Mesa
*Inbound Train
*Test Chamber

[A penciled in note marks all those pictures as having come from HL1]

Eli
Black Mesa. Let's not dwell on that. Nobody's blaming you. We all have to accept some responsibility... what matters is what we do next. I'll get to that. After the disaster, well... let's just say, the ripples kept spreading.

The next few scenes have the feel of Norman Rockwell in Hell:
*Headcrabs leaping onto shoppers from supermarket shelves
*Bullsquid chasing a family from a suburban house; pack of houndeyes running down Elm Street
*Gargantua overturning a tractor as a farmer flees across a Nebraska Field
*Ichthyosaur materialising in a public pool, right under a nose-pinching kid who just jumped off the high-dive

Eli
The Countryside, the suburbs, all those hard-to-patrol places, got pretty much uninhabitable. People started crowding into the cities for protection.

*People clustered at a cyclone fence topped with a razor wire, city skyline rising behind them; cops stand tensely on guard towers, blasting away at headcrab zombies outside the perimeter.

Eli
There was an illusion of safety, for a time. And then the Citadels appeared. It happened in a split second, all over the world. A chunk would disapear from the center of a city, to be replaced an instant later by one of these... headquarters for the Combine. Invasion Central...

*City center completely cored, buildings sheared off, an enormous pit appearing out of nowhere, and people falling into it
*The same view, with a Citadel now towering at the center of all

[pencil note?]

Eli
Say hello to your new masters.

*Cremators, striders, Combine machines pouring out of the Citadel into the city. Combine dropships tearing through the air.

Eli
Oh, we resisted.

*Tanks, soldiers, human army advancing on the Citadel
*The same troops reduced to ashes, completely obliterated

Eli
Earth put up a fight that lasted all of seven hours.

*A smoldering Pentagon-shaped pile of ashes

[Pencil note]

Eli
And then, the man who had seized about all the power a man can seize in a crisis, used that power to arrange our surrender.

*The Consul, at the foot of the Radio Tower, wearing a headset, hands raised high to the dropships as he proclaims Earth's surrender

Eli
They call him the Consul now. It worked out fine for him. He speaks for the Combine, he shares in their power. As for the rest of us....

*Views of City 17, citizens slouching along [pencil note]
*Air Exchange belching black fumes
*Drained seabed with beached ships, whale bones

Eli
Well, you've seen the state of things. They're replacing the air with something we can hardly breathe. They're draining the ocean. We don't know if they're preparing the planet for new residents, or just stripping it of every possible resource. All we do know is that we have to stop them. And that's where you come in, Mr. Freeman. It's up to you to....

*The projector goes dark. [superscript 1]

Edited it, based on what I could make out.

This scene with eli explaining what happened to earth may not exist in the game, since if you read Marc's quote next to the script he says this was from an early version of the game, meaning it might have changed, or been taken out completely and done some other way, or not at all.

It might not be in there, but it certainly feels like the events it's based on wouldn't have been changed much.

if u read the caption accompanying the scan its pretty clear its not in the final version. Altho i agree the events wouldnt have changed much.

Yeah that is still the theory about the combine using terrorist attacks on humans. Some stuff has been taken out but not that much. The aliens want to reach an audience so they use television. And they don't wanna scare the humans so they put a person who "looks" human (Dr.Breen). He will probably say their is no resisting, we are your friends not your enemies! Think of HL2 as WW2. Combine being nazis liberators being non nazi.
Its a veeery original plot but I'm very certain this will be a great game.  AGAIN, do not read these spoiler tags in this thread!
