My money's on three cds. Even simcity 4 needed two cds, so that would probably be too small. Four cd's is a maybe. Five or Six I think is too large. BTW the DVD version would be more expensive. DVDs cost more than ten CDs put together. (I pulled that figure out of thin air so no-one bother correctiong me please).

I asked him about it if you check the valve info thread. He said that you can designate the amount you let steam store on your computer, so you can have it all on their and load faster, or have a little on and just have it d/l it as needed. Same with cd's is likely, where you can put as much as youw ant on or how much it will have to use from cd's etc. However as for overall size I have no idea.

I'm almost 100% positive that Gabe said a dvd version would be available. I don't think it was necessarily the collector's either. There was a thread about this a while ago. People were really confused about all the variants: single, steam, single + multi, collectors, and dvd variants.

That's pretty much what I'm thinking too...although, I'm thinking that 4cds is more and more likely. But I'm planning on getting the DVD version, so it doesn't matter too much...

Not the case at all! A huge part of the storage space needed for the game is the size of the textures...I don't know about Chaser, but lots of games use lots of different size textures...This isn't the only other variable, either.

There are many more variables than just game length that go into determining the amount of space a game will need!
