If we set up squads, I would like to be in Mr Redundents, but since he is such a good leader, his squads prob full of people and requests allready >:/ arg.

Battlefield 2 Demo ladder

We have decided to create a ladder for the demo of battlefield 2. The teamsize, mapsize and use of timelimit are all left for the clans to choose; this demo ladder is made in the first place for experimenting before the real game is released.

Conquest Demo (Rules)

Clanleaders can join the new ladder here, and clans who still aren't registered on ClanBase can use this page to sign up. As always, all clans are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the ladder rules before playing.

who will sign us ? :)

Personally I'd rather keep it simple for the next week or so until the full game is released.

I just love playing it really with a team, so either way now...not bothered how people wanna take it. I am a pretty good anti-tank troop, and theres not too many of them around from when i've played so i'd hope that position would get me in a decent enough squad. Or i'll continue to lead my own as i did yesterday with a few of you guys, fox, ennui, pes, etc...

Sorry about being a whiney little bitch yesterday, the lag just puts me over the edge, but I solved that problem :) (fraps was recording movies).

haha, you wasn't that bad...there was quite some lag though on that server. IIRC your jet skills last night were superb.

Is it time to start dividing into squads so we can begin getting used to our mates? Divide by timezones so we can play at the same times. I am EST -5. (Hell, I'm not even in the clan. :p)

I think once the full version is released, we'll see who is still here :)

Count me in. I can make any time basically this summer.

Oh, was that you getting into my squad? I kept wondering if it was just random people trying to get into the popular squad or what, I think I let you in anyway :)

Any casual squads/clans forming up? I'm not good enough or have enough time to play super seriously, but I like well-oiled teamwork. Prefer voice if possible.

I don't know how serious I can be, in regards to all sorts of clan matches and stuff. I've never been in a game like this in a clan and did all the matches before.

However, I would be serious about hanging out with you guys and having loads of fun all the time.

It all depends on how my life is going. I might be able to think about making this the first game I play 'seriously' with in regards to clans.

If I can get in on it, I wouldn't mind it being a bit of both, like a serious clan, that still mucks around and has a laugh.

I would like to know how serious we want to be as a clan, because when the retail game comes out I would like to start looking to join a good clan.

Serious enough to organize squads and figure out map strategies, but not so serious to have mandatory training sessions.

I'll let you post that if you tell me what that song is on the site, because it's awesome :p

I know I don't have a big say in this discussion since I'm not really able to play regularly but I agree with Ritz: fun during the demo / more serious when the game is out.

I saw a [HL2.net] clan member while playing BF2. He didn't respond to my 'Hey, I'm on HL2.net Forums too!' remarks :p I forget who it was though... My in-game alias is 'Spearin.'

whoever it was probably didn't notice, kind of easy to miss chat messages in the game

It's not that hard to look at the side of the screen. Unless you're using a 50" tv with the res cranked up to 10+ megapixels.

Anyway, the clan should be more serious when the game comes out. (My computer can only handle up to 32 plrs on a server).

Also, can I join anyone's squad? Or join my single person squads in my sig :dork: .

When i get the game in July ill try and start playing with you guys via Xfire.

Will i need a mic or not if i want to join?

Count me in as well, i will download xfire and install it immediately

you don't need a mic at all, but I highly recommend one, adds a whole new dimension to the teamwork.

so.. what's up with our hl2 clan...

i wanted to join but i still don't own the game. the last time i posted here a guy named alan or something like that seemed to be pretty dedicated about starting a hl2 clan.

I'd join..but I dont wanna make anothe raccount so I can add a tag to my name :(

well if we start one soon I would like to join a US westcoast squad if possible

Well... Are we doing something with this clan or was it just dead talk?

Most who said they were in the clan went to other clans. Still, I doubt this will go on anyway.
