Serious clan or no?

If it's Oman, why don't we all just download the demo and **** with that?

No, I downloaded the BF2 demo a month ago and there were still a few servers.
Really not that many anymore... there was only about 3 or 4 servers still up and only 2 of them had players.

I'd be down for playing either the demo, BF2, or even Project Reality if anyone is feeling really tactical.

Project Reality way too slow for me.
Takes forever to find the enemy and even then it's usually a really long range skirmish where you can barely see the guys.

I've been able to find some pretty intense firefights sometimes, especially when defending capture points. And it's always cool to be spotting people from afar and have your team fire and take him down. I enjoy it, but with the right people.

8 months later, time for a revive.

BAD COMPANY 2 GUIZ!

Yeah, how many netters are buying the game?

EDIT: Hmm, maybe this could be a revival of the clan, lots of people seem to buy the game.

I will probably buy it, but only at the beginning of May.

I can't join a lot of TF2 servers with [hl2.net] in my name, I get banned as soon as I join.

Not to mention there'd only be, like, 3 - 4 members who could actually play games with me.

So, like, nah.

EDIT: WAIT A MINUTE THIS THREAD IS FAR PAST IT'S USE-BY DATE.

I figured it was just some auto-banning thing, assuming I was joining up to advertise the site or something.

Can one join the clan without having to use the clan tag in ones name then?

Because one of my fav servers ban specifically tags that are reminiscent of websites since they view it as advertising.

We're not actually a clan in the competitive sense. Its completely open and doesnt have any sort of structure, so if you're a member of the site, you're a member of the "clan." The tag is just something many of us do in many games to show support for the community and help us identify each other.

We also need to figure out what the actual tag is. I've seen just plain HL2.net, [HL2NET], and others.

What it is?

I don't think it really matters. I'll stick with HL2.net, though.

I use [HLnet]. [HL.net] seems to be one character too much.

In the beta, I was able to do [HL2.net] but I cant now, so I just use [HL2net]

We should find some scrims to see how we do. In a couple weeks though.

I have HL2.NET

I'll take out the dot though to be cool like everyone else... and add the brackets. Someone asked me if I was an admin last night...

the dot is part of the url and, in my opinion, as deserving as any of the other characters.

**** brackets in the bum
