Think about it. Most of our older members who have been coming for for years, we come, we talk, we joke, we are all friends.

As gay as that sounds, were all like family, to be honest.

I come here every day to see whats up, what's new, what happened, etc. The bvasgm thread made me think about it. We found out he died, we mourned, letters were sent to his family...

To be honest if any of us met in real life, regardless of age or anything, I bet we'd all get along from the get-go, and we'd be friends easy.

Just wanted to say that. I don't know why it just popped into my head.

A big part of my life?

The rest of my life is a small part of my life.

That's how much of an understatement what you just said is.

Hard for me to say, I still feel like an outsider.

But yes, I get the sense that a lot of you are family to each other.

I'd wear a shirt made out of my avatar.

I <3 hl2.net. I even <3 the newbies that I hate.

the front icon for the front of the T would be nice and then add all the members on the back of the T like a yearbook tshirt

Same here; I'm here just about every day, but I still feel like I don't know some folks as well as I should. Then again, I've haven't been here as long as some.

And yes to t-shirts.

If you can manage to give me a larger picture of your avatar....
Then it is so.

at work we have these printable t-shirt sheets you can iron onto any shirt. it would be amazing to see those on the streets

I've always had that feeling Dog, we hardly know each other but at the same time we know each other better than the friends we have in real life.

You guys mean a lot to me - I hope that I'll be able to have a beer or some such one day when I'm over in Europe or America etc...

I need really big sizes for the pictures, if they are to be noticed.

For the hl2-hand thingy, it needs to be like 1600x1200 or bigger for it to pop-out, if you know what I mean.

EDIT: On the back of the shirt there will be names of all the current members in alphabetical order (not the members that aren't even active), and on the bottom of the back of the shirt it will say in bold "RIP bvgasm".

Lets make a shirt with everyone's most used avatar.

What would be yours, zt? You always change it every month or so.

I would define it more like a segment or perhaps a portion.

Maybe after we make a main hl2.net shirt =\

Right now, I need pictures. BIG pictures. Maybe the HL2 logo, a hl2.net logo, etc.

If we work fast enough, we could have this shirt published tonight.

In the meantime, I need a list of all the hl2.net members (execpt the ones that are banned, trolls, or just never come on here)

I think we all know each other well enough to walk around the forum naked.

I agree Reggie...... Whip it out then, what ya waiting for? :O

Someone here once said, "When ya here, ya home". I don't remember who, and my search-fu is weak, but it was that very quote that changed this forum from a bulletin board into a community for me.

I admittedly spend a lot of time F5-ing the forums and read through a lot of threads, though I don't post very much. I know almost everyone here but I bet hardly anyone knows me.
Let's say, 50 minutes a day here.

50 minutes? I spend at the very least 3 hours a day here. I know it sounds pathetic, but I live far away from civilization, out in the country, so I usually just chill with my guitar and surf the net, and HL2.net is always - ALWAYS - open in another tab.

I am usually behind on my deadlines. And it's all of your faults.

Do you mean you're acively reading/posting for 3 hours or just have the tab open?

Maybe I'll get myself a Firefox addon so I can see the actual time I spend here and on other websites, would be pretty interesting for myself.

One of those families where everyone bitches at each other and fights, while rarely meeting up?

I don't know about family, but I do know a ton of you extremely well in an internet sense. And I'm quite fond of most of you. Especially a lot of the older members, it's been interesting seeing people change (usually from lame to awesome but sometimes vice versa) as the years pass. This is definitely by far my favorite community, assuming Hetairia counts as contained within it. I've spent countless thousands of hours reading and posting here.

God, I miss a lot of the members who aren't around anymore though :( there are hundreds upon hundreds of older regs I thought were awesome who either have been inactive for years or only come around once in a blue moon.

Let's just keep the site going until we're all mid to late 20s and we can afford some kind of huge Halflife2.net convention/lan party, that would be so unequivocally excellent...

I met sheepy / cybersh33p (not really around here much anymore but he was a regular for the first couple years) early last year when he stayed with me for a week on his wandering journey across the US and Europe, and he and I got along famously. It was awkward for all of 3 seconds and then we fell right into it. I imagine it'd be the same for most of you. Too bad we're spread out all over the world!

This thread is incredibly fluffy. I love you guys.

Unless I'm the retarded cousin of the family. If so, **** you.

<3

Only person from hl2.net I've met is Jeff (aka Jnightshade), hopefully he'll be down near Milwaukee again sometime next year when we're finally 21 for the bars! I think it would be awesome to have a huge hl2.net LAN/Convention/meetup event--featuring plenty of booze/smokables and good times.
