HL2.net machinima!

Why does the server always have to be UK Servers. It's impossible to do anything TF2 related with you people..

Actually the last UK or US poll I made, it was split 50/50.

At any rate, playing on a UK server doesn't make such a huge impact on performance as the numbers might fool you into thinking.

I'd act as long as long as its with cool people.

What about Acting with me lol

Anyway, I have just recieved news that a sound version of the Machinima is complete, I have just watched it and its lookin good, all voice lines are being recorded tommorow and the day after. The machinima will be finished in around 3-4 Days...

Yes, half the worlds population lives in the UK. About 4 billion or something?

Uh, NO. Either this is some form of elaborate rouse or you're all retarded.

1. China: 1.32 billion (about 20% of world population)
2. India: 1.12 billion (about 17%)
3. United States: 300 million (about 4.6%)
4. Indonesia: 225 million (about 3.5%)
5. Brazil: 186 million (about 2.8%)
6. Pakistan: 165 million (about 2.5%)
7. Bangladesh: 147 million (about 2.3%)
8. Russia: 143 million (about 2.2%)
9. Nigeria: 135 million (about 2.1%)
10. Japan: 128 million (about 2.0%)
11. Mexico: 108 million (about 1.7%)
12. Vietnam: 87 million (about 1.3%)
13. Philippines: 86 million (about 1.3%)
14. Germany: 82 million (about 1.3%)
15. Egypt: 75 million (about 1.2%)

That represents 4.3 Billion you might notice how the UK isn't even on that list. By itself Brits have about 60 mil and the entire EU have around 500 mil.

As for TF2 players have a look at http://tf2.4fite.com/

US: 10,386 players
UK: 2,491 players
AU: 2,256 players

I lol'd at the thought of four billion people squeezing into the size of UK.

Was so fun.

Waffles and Nicky

I'll get that bastard one of these days...

:D

Anyway, I have just recieved news that voice acting has been delaying and is most likely being filmed over this weekend.

So...Given current progress, whats a likly release date? A week? Two weeks? A month?

Recording voices, putting all things in one AVI file, upload.

There are 6 billion people in the world. How can you ever assume someone is serious when they say one of the smallest countries in the world contains 2/3s of the world's population...?

For all the people like Headcrab Pie here is a Sit Rep.

Franie P, the director is currently gathering his voice actors individually to record their lines. The majority of lines should be finished in a few days. All sounds have been added to the file and sent to me as a 'Beta' of the final. However, major changes will be taking place over this week. For an example, the flashbacks, (Granary and Badlands fight scenes for those involved in those scenes) to be changed to black and white to show they are in the past, that accumpanied by a noise similar to that on Lost should help the viewers know what these scenes are. Sounds are all genuine and are official from Valve, (well with the exception of the new minigun sound and helicopter files). Voices are all being recorded in Franie's computer room with an expansive mic, meaning their may be slight background noise, however he is going to minimalise the background noise such as TVs or footsteps. Franie himself reviewed the project release date as 'when its finished...:(' but I would say the project release date is most likely next Saturday, as long as his friends get off their arses and record their lines. However, this machinima has...other means and these may take priority, if the date the project has to be handed in on is much later, Franie may have to wait until later in March, however, this is a minalistic chance of delay.

Conclusion: Project is nearing completion for next Saturday.

Also remember that this is dubbed as a 'Amateur Machinima' and will be no where near the standard of Lit Fuse Films etc. This Episode of the Machinima does include stupid little things that we are aware of, such as a soldier taunting in the background of a fight scene and Rapstah saying 'Remove that Spray' during a zoomed panning shot. These things also include characters slightly shifting from their positions during scenes, this is because different actors were sometimes used on different days of filming or we had problems with Spectator mode (the characters standing still during their scenes and the server thinking they have gone AFK, this can be noticed in the description scenes throughout the 10minute machinima. Bullet holes or explosion marks appear during the switching of clips, this is to memorise locations etc. Episode 2 will be of a much higher quality and will hopefully be longer, Episode 1 is simply to set a story, scene and characters and for viewers to get the principal of the machinima. Do not judge too harshly.

PM me via Steam @ Nicky0123 and I'll talk more in detail there (sorry if I woffled, IT is so boring, so I just used this as something to do :D)

Yeh, during the granary flashback, somebody sprays the 'Gentleman' spray (the spy with loads of cigarettes in his mouth) on the wall and Franie films a clip with a sniper zoomed in with HUDs visible, and you can read 'Magical Uncle Rapstah: Remove that Spray!' lol, it looks stupid but is also really funny at the same time. You can also see the Spray in the background while two Soldiers get snipered.

While waiting for an Episode 1 release, Franie and I decided to begin work on Episode 2, a 'brainstorming' event will be begin shortly and I shall invite the large contriputors to Episode 1. This brainstorm will be to develop an idea of a storyline for Episode 2, as only Episode 1 and possibly 3 have storylines so far. If you wish to take part, add Nicky0123 to your steam friends.

I will post when we have decided about storyline and filming dates.

Yeh ok, a few of us had a quick brainstorm last night and came up with a story, unfortunately Franie wasnt present so the 2 parter storyline for Episode 2 and 3 hasnt been approved.

Hopefully I will inform in a short while and post back when he gives confirmation.

Audition underway...

Ok, slight change of plan...

If anyone wishes to do some voice acting for Another Day at 2fort, please PM me at Nicky0123. We are currently looking for a Jamaican Accent, an american accent similar to the Soldier in TF2 and possibly a realistic Serbian or Russian accent.

Once I get a few people, I will start an audition where Franie and I will rate you depending on Mic quality and accent.

Yes we do, Franie can do Australian but if you are australian thats even better :D add Nicky0123 to Steam and talk to me.

In similar News, Eejit has accepted the role of the Soldier and Franie has taken the role of the Jamacian.

We could still use other people, it would help to actually have a person from that country helping, it'll be alot more realistic.

Internet hard to detect people joking. Did you miss the elaborate rouse part in my previous post? You failed it too, good work. Seriously it wasn't funny in anyway so I had no choice but to take it seriously.

I would say production is currently halted. Franie is busy with revision and I am currently reviewing people for voice acting, also I have no files otherwise I would have edited it slightly differently...never mind.

I'll voice act! Weeeeee

Hit me up on AIM at chaostfc

Or Steam, lulorz
