first of all, I higly dout those are the names of the maps, most are from the beta first of all, and second of all I suspect HL2 will run on a naming system much like halflife's. ie c0a0 or something like that.

Or they are from the preload of maps which just got released....

Bah, the number of chapters is irrelevant. The game could have 2 chapters for all I care. So long as it is going to be 20+ hours of pure Combine ass-whomping mayhem, you could split the damn game any way you need to.

Like films, game developers HAVE to cut stuff out to reach deadlines and a various other reasons.

I trust the game is still in an awesome form.
