Anyone found any bugs/problems with the game?
I think I have.
I was playing on a server that has been running since shortly after DM came out on a single map, the City 17 one. So this map has been running non-stop for several hours.
Most of the weapons no longer spawned. For example, the shotgun, combine i-rifle and the crossbow just didn't show up, as well as a couple of the sub grenades in the burnt out building (below the RPG) and a box of ammo I found lying in the street.
It seems perhaps that the weapons got blown away somewhere (since they are physics objects) into a place that made them irretrievable. And since the game thought there was a copy in the game-world, it never re-spawned them. Just my theory, anyway.
The magnum and RPG kept spawning, however.
The lack of weapons did make that level rather tedeous to play for too long, especially considering the rediculous abundance of manipulator ammo - IMO this needs to be toned down as most of the time it was a one-hit kill, especially with very hard to dodge objects like shelves or large heavy (wide) cabinets.
I also noticed that the pistol bug doesn't seem to work in MP - in SP if you hold down the L and R mouse buttons on the pistol, then release the RMB after a little while, it'll shoot several (up to the entire clip) of bullets in 1 shot, enough to kill almost everything in 1 hit. Perhaps they just fixed this in the HL2 update at the same time.
