It's a common american belief that American's created Thanksgiving.
(I dont actually know if we did or not)

So it's just logical to conclude that other places don't celebrate it

I think (I'm not sure) But I Think the pilgrims landed in Nova Scotia, either that, or the vikings did, Can't remember But I heard somewhere that that some kinda pilgrims landed in Canada...

well its not like Canada and the US are joined at the hip or anything :upstare:
on a more serious note, there are other statutory holidays which Canada has and the US doesn't and im sure there are ones the US has and Canada doesn't.

anyway, no big deal, hopefully fellow Canadians are having a safe and happy Thanksgiving where ever they may be. :)

In the UK we don't have Thanksgiving, because we have no gratitude to anything whatsoever.

I can't wait for thanksgiving. I can taste teh food already. mmmmmm

Anyway, happy day to you Canadians. Be safe.

I thought it was the British who used to own India?

Whooooa, It's Nov. 21st already?
Shit, better start cooking the turkey, making the stuffing, opening cans of cranberry sauce, peeling the corn, getting the peas, baking the pies, baking the breads, etc.

...I'm hungry now. x.x

I'm not celebrating Christmas this year.

The adverts on the TV have killed it already.

And not in Ireland because we have nothing to be grateful for but potatoes.

We had it yesterday I think. No big deal, most people weren't aware of it.

Had it yesterday. Today I had to head back to university so I had turkey sandwiches all day.

I wuv thanksgiving!

Indian = native american

Been that way for 500 years since Christopher Columbus, and there's no reason to change it.

Just like the word "right" has a few meanings, so can "Indian."
