WASHINGTON (AP) ‹ At least two people were shot Wednesday at the U.S.
Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, authorities said.

D.C. police spokeswoman Traci Hughes said a person walked into the museum at
about 1 p.m. with a rifle and shot a guard. Hughes says the shooter was also
shot.

Hughes said the victims¹ conditions were not known. Both were being rushed
to a hospital.

U.S. Park Police gave slightly different information, saying three people
had been shot. Fire department spokesman Alan Etter told CNN a third person
was hurt after being cut by broken glass.

The museum normally has a heavy security presence with guards positioned
both inside and outside. All visitors are required to pass through metal
detectors at the entrance, and bags are screened.

The museum, located just off the National Mall near the Washington Monument,
is a popular tourist attraction. It draws about 1.7 million visitors each
year.

Roads surrounding the museum have been closed.

Officer Stephen Tyrone Johns died due to the injuries he received.
The shooter is James W. von Brunn, and is currently in the hospital in serious condition. From what I gather, he was a hardcore anti-semite/white supremicist, and wrote books about such things. He was a member of the the white power site StormFront. I found this thread at their site:

You have heard the news of the shooting at the holocaust museum. You always hear the news when they want you to.

I really don't know why this old man did what he did, but I can imagine. He did it out of hopelessness. All the truth he published on his site went unseen by the great many of his people he loved. Nothing he said mattered. The only thing the masses get to see is what the news media wants you to see. Whenever someone tells you the jews control the media, react however you think you should act. You may feel you should be disgusted at such a suggestion. This is evil racism, anti-semitism, or whatever "ism" you have been programmed to despise without even a second thought. React in whatever way you see fit. But do justice to the truth. In the privacy of your own home, with no masters of political correctness there to monitor your every thought, research the truth about the matter. The information is freely available, for the time being.

It is all quite true, this is a tragedy, but is it really the worst of all tragedies? What I get upset at is the way the media masters tell their reporters to emphasize as important the stories that are important to them. For instance, you probably never heard of Elizabeth Haddock, have you? An innocent 11 year old girl who was home alone after school when 3 blacks broke in, raped, tortured and murdered her. You didn't hear any of this on the national mainstream news. You hear nothing bad about anyone who commits crimes against innocent Whites, but boy do you hear about the holocaust museum shooting.

If you seek an enemy, look no further than the national news. If it is being reported there, it is something they want you to believe. Something they need you to believe. They tell you something is a problem because it fits an agenda that is in their interest, not yours. In fact their agenda is often directly in opposition to your best interests, but you will go along with it because the anchorman you trust (who is painstakingly chosen because he instills a sense of trust in people) tells you to. Interesting how they call them TV programs, isn't it? They are programming you.

There's senseless shit that happens all over the US to people of all races that the news doesn't report on. grow a pair and get over it.

Von Brunn has a racist, anti-Semitic Web site and wrote a book titled "Kill the Best Gentiles."

In 1983, he was convicted of attempting to kidnap members of the Federal Reserve Board. He was arrested two years earlier outside the room where the board was meeting, carrying a revolver, knife and sawed-off shotgun. At the time, police said Von Brunn wanted to take the members hostage because of high interest rates and the nation's economic difficulties. Writings attributed to Von Brunn on the Internet say the Holocaust was a hoax and decry a Jewish conspiracy to "destroy the white gene pool."

The museum houses exhibits and records relating to the Holocaust more than a half century ago in which more than six million Jews were killed by the Nazis.

I like the fact that Rush Limbaugh (spelling?) is trying to portray this guy as a leftist, even though he disliked Obama (he was one of those who thinks Obama's birth certificate is a phony), supported Palin, frequented right-wing websites often, and was influenced by holocaust-denying right wing politicians. Not that hes a main stream Republican, but its laughable to say that hes a left wing nut. Yes there are antisemitic liberals, but all his other traits are typically found on the conservative side of the political spectrum.

I find this quite horrible, but really interesting.

The thing is, I grew up with "Faith in the pure river that is the Korean bloodline", and am nationalistic to a great extent.


But I still never spew rhetoric about how the Korean "race" (If you can call it that, I prefer "people") is superior, or how other ethnic groups have conspiracies to destroy the purity of our blood and etc.

Nor do I condone shooting people of other ethnic groups.

In reality, I rather despise racism; I wish for the world to come up with better excuses to kill each other.






It's damned interesting. I have wishes, perhaps misguided, for our bloodline to stay "pure", not out of a feeling of superiority, but concern for our culture and traditions themselves. Just as I wish for other cultures to not die down. I am used to thinking that preservation of our culture would require the non-mixing of peoples.

I see quite a few people that share my views (some of them schoolteachers and professors), but none condone the murder of human beings. We wish for our people to enjoy eternal prosperity, just as we wish the entire world to enjoy everlasting happiness (or at least, most do).

More like purity in stupidity tbh.

Actions are of greater consequence than ethnic, but what I think is right is not what you or what someone else thinks is right. This is where is gets complicated.

To be frank, someone needs to carry the big stick and force boundaries on people as there are still those who even think the killing of innocent people is fine and dandy just because the killing is a sacrifice to their gods.

Take the Aztecs for example. In their society hundreds of years ago, mass slaughtering was second nature to them because they grew up in and around an atmosphere where killing people in the name of Quetzalcoatl for a better harvest was fine and dandy. Today, this sort of thing would not be tolerated in most first-world nations, but many things still need moderation even if it's against the will of the masses.

In short, people need to be herded like cattle and be taught by someone in power what's right and what's wrong even if they don't like it.

People can't help what ethnic they are, and white supremacists only care about skin color. Likewise, racist black groups are the same way. They need to be disciplined on what's right and wrong based on our current society and not by skin color period. (i.e. theft, murder, work-ethics, etc.)
