I bought my house in Bravil, for 4k. Had enough left over to get the furnishings.

One corner seems to be dark and I can't seem to steal candles? Anyway of doing this?

How are you able to buy houses. I've been to several people where I had the option to ask about a house while talking to them, but every thing they say they don't want to talk about it with me. Even when I bride them and get the to 70 rep and such. Do I have to do quests and such first? I'm about to just murder someone and steal their house.

I'm Imperial, so can use "Voice of the Emperor" to charm them and they sell you the house at what ever price then. Goto a mages guild and buy a charm scroll.
