digital cam- I think you take the composite cables (yellow, red white ones) stick one end in the TV 'output' in back, stick the other end in the cam, set the right input for cam, and record! (not sure how your cam works, but something like that)

It depends on what console you are talking about. Streaming the video out while playing you usually need a cable with a dedicated video and sound out (most newer cables have that). Plug it into your video card and use something like Adobe Premiere or even PowerDirector, switch to analog input and you should see what is happening. The quality sucks though, pulling screens without a developer console is not very nice. Need de-interlacing and sharpening, also not much resolution.
