How do you change crosshairs?

Is there any way to change crosshairs?

Ever since I got a weapon, they have just been an upper-case Q, why?

OK, I just noticed some other stuff is wrong, my gun Icons are letters (SMG is the lambda), and the title of the game in the menu is Half-Life' .

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Try restarting Half-Life 2.

I've restarted a few times, the problem persists.

Same here, seems they used a font for the symbols and it didnt install properly or something.

Oh, just found the fonts in my steam apps folder under \half-life 2\hl2\resource.

You probably installed the HL2 font earlyer (the one made by a fan) if you did then it wouldnt be copyed over properly.

Just go to the C:\WINDOWS\Fonts folder and find the one called HalfLife2 open it, if it isnt full of weapon pictures delete it.

Next click file and install new font. Navigate to the \half-life 2\hl2\resource folder and select the two fonts to install.
