Honestly, November is a great month for me. AMD next mobo chips Nforce4 ultra is coming in November. Plus Prices cut (Sale) is in November. SO Nov is a great month to upgrade and release the game.

So from this we can conclude that valve have had nothing new to show us in the last 12 months. If they have been spending all this time bug testing, then this game should be the cleanest from bugs game ever!

Maybe when HL2 is on sale or in a bargain bin will I buy it. And yes I have the cajones to stick to my guns. Unless we at least try to act outraged they will hold off HL2 just to make more money.

Over the past years I have come to trust those who are trust worthy about certain dates. I still trust them about release dates... Just not Half Life 2's anymore.

The only person I will trust is Gabe himself on the matter of HL2's release date. And none of this hacked forum crap, but wide fan base web sites with quotes from an email they recieved from Valve (Gabe)

Then and only then we will know that HL2 has gone GOLD

Nope, they were both different presentations. Check here for the E3 2003 ones. You can download the whole E3 2004 presentation here. You couldn't have seen all of it over a year ago, because E3 2004 was in May of this year. Perhaps your perception of time is a bit messed up?

Seriosuly this is an issue that is endemic to the HL2 community, for some reason droves of otherwise sane people (maybe) have lost any concept of time passing in a uniform manner.

Some claim that we have been waiting 6 years, others claim it has been months since August, the guy up there claiming he saw the vid a year ago, it has been 4 months!

We are still in summer for God's sake! I don't think they shall hit the Summer release but it is still feasible so chill.

That's a point.

A lot of people complain that now they have school, they won't be able to play HL2 all day. Now, if HL2 IS pushed back until November, these people won't have to complain because they'll be spending their time in school. So the time will just whizz by for them, and they'll all realise how fast 2 months can go by.

pffft when i played i was n1 on statlist, not that that says much but bleh,

i just got sick of the uber crappy lag in the game u cant even walk normal without lagging ur ass off the netcode is so uber shitty.

and all the bugs and nade spamming just made me hate the game :flame:
