I know this question is out of the blue but it just came to me, how old do you think the freeman is?

I bet he'll age at least a year come EP3 or HL3.

Seeing as how the episodes come directly right after each other, and how the G-Man puts him in time stasis until HL2, I'd say he's still 27.

Well ok he'll probly be the same age come EP3 but I hope HL3 has at least a four month gep between it and EP3. Just for realizim. I mean even WWII had some breaks in the action.

27 = Half Life 1
27 = Half Life 2 (because of stasis he wouldnt age)
Probs 27 = Half Life 3 (its not like gman is going to plan a party for gordon is he?)

I don't recall any period of four months during World War II where the Allies and Axis said "**** it, I'm sick of fighting, let's just chill for a while".

Hl1 27+2 days
HL2 27+4 days
EP1 27+5 days
Ep2 27+6 days
That is my theory

I think HL2 is supposed to be over the course of 3 days

1st day ends at ravenholm
2nd at nova prospect
3rd is between HL2 and EP1

3rd is between HL2 and EP1
No, day 3, as we see is really dark when the dark fusion reactor goes up, and it is darker in Episode 1, which starts apparently 2-3 hours after the end of HL2, meaning its prob a new day while ur in the citadel, and then that day is the same one that you wake up in episode 2, meaning...

Day 1, starts, trainstation, ends at Ravenholm
Day 2, starts at the docks/coast,ends at Nova Prospekt
Day 3, starts at Kleiners lab, ends at the citadel
Day 4, starts during citadel insurtion, ends end of episode 2, as it is getting dark when *cough cough* happens...

Hehe, Freeman skipped about 10 years when he was in GMan's stasis, and then week when on the combine teleport on HL2.

So for him, BM incident feels like it happened just week before HL2 Ep2.

In Half-Life's time, Gordon has been more unconcious than been running around :D

Hmm i never played Half life so i didnt know how old he was

Dude why are you playing Episode Two if you haven't played the original

I am also born in 1993 and I played HL1 on 1999. Dude you've seriously missed some good gaming years.

Now, go find Half-Life Generation pack from somewhere and have every single HL1 based game made. Play HL1, Opposing Force and then download a mod called Azure Sheep. It should tell you kinda nicely the story.

Where did 27 ever come up in HL1???
Within the first three minutes.

"SUBJECT:
Gordon Freeman
Male, age 27
EDUCATION:
Ph.D., MIT, Theoretical Physics
POSITION:
Research Associate
etc."

GORDON IS 1337 YEARS OLD ALWAYS!
oh noez anti-caps :S

He missed around 2 decades, not just 10 years.

How do we know. I remember that some review said it was 10 years after HL1.

But well, Alyx is about 20+, so she could have been like 5 years old in Black Mesa. So then it is 15 years.

But, 10-20 years.

Because i never heard about Half Life only about Half life 2 i didnt know about this game until 03:rolleyes:

He's 28. His birthday was the day of the resonance cascade.

I always thought he looks kinda old, but now he's totally dateable!

I wonder how does he feels when he meet ppls 20 years older after couple days.

People you forgot the incident in HL2 when they traveled thru that teleport for a week/two weeks...

No that is same type of teleport that G-man put him at end of HL1.

Now if you look at pictures from the series from what i say he looks like he has barely changed depends if his age has changed

huh... someone's who is acctually brave enough to tell their age. I'll never tell anyone that im only 15-.... crap

but seriusly, i played hl1 when i was young too (but I was at the age where you only use cheats, so i'm currently trying it without them). so do buy it. you wont regret it even though its old. as i allways say, its not the grafix that make the game (chysis. I'm looking at you) its the story and gameplay. and halflife hasboth. :)

Nope. No dependants. He might have a niece though.

HL1 takes three days actually, I had a demo version of HL1 that came with the sound card, it said "half-life day one" on the cd and it ended right after you entered that big vent where the marine would come down from ropes while helicopters bombed the surface. (Chapter 5: ?We?ve Got Hostiles?)

Uplink isn't a canon for time counting. I count it in that way. Resonace cascade->Rocket launch one day RL->Xen next day.
