What do you guys think about twins. Human identical twins. Isn't that crazy?

Do any of you know any?

Im watching something about them on TV right now. there was a twin convention with 100's of identical twins there. Its almost freaky.

I've got a pair of neices that are identical. You can tell them apart, though.

Anyway, twins are great for "Rodeo" style. Go from behind, get a good grip and whisper her sisters name. See how long you can hold on ;)
 
I know three triplets who are identical except for two things: one of them is blonde, and their preferences are different. THey all have exactly the same personality, yet one likes (for example) jazz, while another likes death metal. They always argue on the basis that they're all three of them very different, but they're so similiar. :p
 
In my primary school, there were twin girls, in my secondard school and college there are also identical twin girls, different sets though. It was amazing at first, now i'm just used to it, i can tell them apart easily. Its an amazing phenomina but due to it being quite well known now, its not that impressive these days! Twins have issues with individualism, and lots tend to be very different in lots of ways. Some experiences can't be shared by both, sometimes they are interpretted differently so its bound to happen. The girls i know are great people in their owns rights.
 
Twins are only cool if they're really hot.

Otherwise it's just double the ugly.

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister once... could never tell them apart, had to wait for whichever one came up to me :eek:
 
There are two hot twins that live nextdoor. My age too.

Twins are cool, I wish I had one.Then I could conquer the west whilst my counterpart conquers the east. We'll meet somewhere in France and have Tea.
 
identical twins are more alike than clones are. Because twins share the same RNA and clones don't...or something like that--i'm not good with that sort of stuff.

That said, i'm good friends with some identical twins and honestly, they look so different i can't see how people confuse them.
 
I once went out with one twin while my best mate went out with the other one. The novelty soon wore off.
 
Chi says that the frontman from Franz Ferdinand is my twin. My good twin, because I'm pretty hateful.

I have freinds who are identical twins, although its pretty easy for me to tell them apart now. Over the summer they were with my group of friends when we rented a place on Lake Erie. On our way back to Pittsburgh we went to Twinsburg, Ohio. Every year they have the worlds largest gathering of twins; an event called Twins Days. Pretty interesting really.

Which begs the question: why on earth didn't they call it 'Twin Peaks'?

I dont know if I would want to live in a town as bizarre as the tv series.
 
My mom has an identical twin. Hence, two of my cousins are, genetically speaking, my half-brothers. It's pretty funny, especially considering that they are absolutely nothing like me.

Also, I have triplet cousins. They're juniors in college, and NO, YOU CAN NOT HAVE THEIR NUMBERS. :angry:

my old best friend had these twin identical brothers they were absolutely insane both blonde little hyper loud and crazy and they looked exactly the same, they were everywhere....it was unbearable!!! ahhh!
 
I saw someone with a baby arm once. She looked like T-rex, it was insane in the membrane.
 
Yeah I know a couple pairs actually. Now that I think about it it's fairly common. It's like I've met more twins that are identical than twins that are not. I can only think of one set of twins I know that isn't identical, the rest are.
 
I was wondering, it must suck if as a kid your mum dies and she has a twin sister. It must suck also for the husband now that I think about it.
 
I know a pair of twins. They take great pains to be as alike as possible - remember watching them walk down the street. If they got out of sync, they would both stop and then walk off together - in perfect syncronization. They always wore the same clothing and had the same problems with their clothing (stains, not tucked in etc.).

You could tell them apart by their head structure, though.
 
I'm a feternal twin (sp) we don't look even slightly similar though. My brother is in taiwan atm and it's funny because he's the only caucasion at his school. The girls giggle at his curly blonde hair because you just dont see that there. And it's not quite like popculture in japan where that behavior is immitated constantly.. it's more just strange :) but he's getting many friends and enjoying his stay. He's a wiser person than I am today because of it.
