I can just imagine Barney slapping Alyx on the arse. Then Alyx turns around, and gets Barney in a headlock

Alyx- "Take that back, Bitch!"
Barney- "I take it back!"

I can almost imagine Barney and Alyx get together at the end of HL2, or maybe were high-school sweethearts

I think whatever humor there is will be somewhat subtle, but still pretty dark.

Like that one part where science man crushes the headcrab and jumps for joy just before the other one eats his brain.
Or the constant ironic foreshadowing before the accident.

Personally I don't like the idea of one of gordons pals being killed. With all the new 'emotional attachment' a lot of people will be replaying levels if a friendly character gets killed.

I've replayed levels from worse AI games when pals have died on me, I'll probably go nuts if a pal dies in this game.
