first off all, you guys are the best liars in the world,
you let your whole community down by fake release dates, you guys knew that 30 september never was possible so why push it.
and then on the last minute you say that hl2 was delayed.
ok then the whole thing happend that you guys where stolen, which as simple as that whas your own fault.
ok you guys then let magizine writers playtest half-life 2,
en then you release new shot's, and new info.
and then e3 2004, that presentation was mindblowing.
then the new release date summer 2004.
ok nice now it is summer, but hey why not delay again guys??????
ok now fall.
ok valve this is it, i am sick off the fact that you guys are consstantly delaying the game.
get a deadline for hl2 simply dont say a release date.
but hey screwing the hl2 community is the coolest thing around i gues.

No offence but, jesus christ mate. It's a game. Grow up, you can't always have what you want.
 
*also valve are saying mid late september. Call me crazy but i am believing valve this time when they say it is out this year. it is August! so 4 and a bit months MAX to wait *4 and a bit months of this year left so MAX is if they release it late december which i dout. Because i think it will be released in sept*

geez, whats with all the negativity to valve? I wish I was in charge of VALVe, I would make it so all the people who post nonsense like this would not be able to play the games.

But more importantly, the attitude here today is just crazy, we all need to calm down,take a deep breath, and have a group hug.

If Valve pissed you off over something as foolish as a game's release date never build a home. You will end up in prison for murder.
 
Apparently you're also "sick off" good spelling.

From now on, no-one is allowed to hate valve unless they express that hate by using capital letters at the start of their sentences and periods at the end.

well tomoz is the g-phobia playable demo showing so i think give it till nxt week for us to hear some news

I fail to see "pwned" in his pathetic rant tbh.

He somehow thinks Valve delays for fun, and he considers delaying a game 'screwing the community over' because yes, HL2 is the only game in history to get delayed.

Stop whineing and grow up. The game will come when it's finished. It's not like you are going to die just of waiting for it. You've waited since 1998 for the sequel, why not wait a year more or two?

And why are you posting this on a forum? Why not send it in a mail to VALVe?

unless valve ask someone to steal the beta how is it their fault? hackers saying, "they left a way into their system, its their fault" are just dicks, the lenghts they went to steal it was hardly an open door to the system, its more like a tiny key hole stuffed with chewing gum

I'm full with these "screw you valve" threads. It's not even fall, we're still in summer! Many school boys piss of because schools start and they don't have HL-2, hey, I go to school too but I don't whine because somebody isn't releasing some nice game!
And PS. Valve is definately not screwing with their fans. They just released few new shots, and haven't been lying since Sept. 30. 2003.

They going to release it soon. Word is they're going to give the finished version to thier publishers in August, giving the way clear for a September release.

* Who's to say that the 30th of September was an impossible date. I'm sure it looked really likely in April when they announced it.
* Why was the leak "Valve's fault"? I hope one day someone steals your car or breaks into your house. Then we can all laugh and declare it was "Your fault".
* The summer release date was just an estimate, like all
* The difference between a game getting released in summer and in fall can be as little as a day.
* Get a deadline? You mean you just want Valve to stop developing Half-Life 2 at a certain point and just release it, no matter what the quality it? I'm sure you'll be the first to complain if that happened

And yeah, grow up and stop thinking that Valve are awful because they won't pander to your selfish wishes.

And why do some people seem to think that Valve delay a game on purpose for fun? "HAHHAHA, LET'S BE EVIL AND DELAY THE GAME AGAIN".
