Anyone knows anything about getting quiet people to talk more? I've just noticed that I have a few quiet friends who I would like to talk more often for their own sake.
Just talking to them about it doesn't really work it would seem.

Basically you want them to be more social and talkative.

The reason they are afraid to talk is becuase they have low self respect, no self confidence.

This is changable, but it has to be recognised. They need to adopt the belief in themselves that they deserve to be held, they can do what they want, not apologise for their personality.
