so what theories do u all have..

i say the combine are doing this to test out opening portals within earth itself and how the soldiers could use it..thus they use human subjects and test them to see how they would use it. remember, the combine have not been able to teleport within earth thus relying on gunships and apc's ect. thus, they are slowly developing this technology to speed up their re assault on earth to take it over again and not fail. the tests are being conducted in the combine homeworld.. my theory.

Nice preview, again not much we didn't know, although it seems to confirm it doesn't take place in a computer construct. The least flattering IGN preview yet, but I imagine Valve can't show too much as it is the shortest game of the three.

One thing that caught my eye was interviewing the Narbacular Drop kid...notice the menu on the screen behind him? Like ep2 will act as a main menu from which you can select any Steam game??? I like that!

I am guessing that that is from the Xbox 360 version. I don't think steam will do that.
