holy shit, that's awful ..you should probably see a neurologist ..make absolutely sure it wasnt just the meds that triggered it. get well soon tyguy
 
Did you run out of medpacks or something? Im glad you got the pain pills since your shoulder hurt.

I'm epileptic and I still play video games. And drink lots. And don't get enough sleep and go to clubs with flashing lights and generally do most things that exacerbate one's inability to control one's own consciousness.
That's just how I roll.

Still, seizures are no fun, especially when you throw yourself across the room and bash yourself against stuff.

One question though: why on earth were there fireman and policemen there?

That's just how they do things...i live literally 2 minutes from the police and fire station so that's probably part of the reason too

i didn't know this until a few days later, i was so out of it at the time and was too busy dry heaving to realize what was going on.

I spoke with a neurologist before leaving and she told me she was certain it was the medication that caused it. What a bad time to have a seizure though, the plane was so close! :p

Get up soldier, your not going down that easy! Peels here! *Oh and don't try and fix yourself if you dislocate a body part. Not only will it hurt ungodly like, you may pinch an artery, killing yourself. It's not a simple pull and twist, you gotta know what you're doing.

That sucks, good thing you are okay. I live alone, if some shit like that happened to me I wouldn't be found for at least a day.
 
Sometimes (extremely rare) people have seizures when they are frightened a lot. It's like those fainting goats and it's just like the brain overloads or something. There was a kid in my middle school who would practically have a seizure almost every morning in home room. :( My last cat when it got older had these too and we decided to put it down. :(
 
Just out of curiosity, how much Klonopin were you taking on average and how frequently? I've some experience with that category of drug from my own anxiety issues.

pro-tip: dont get a cat, if they think you're dead they'll start eating your softtissue ..as far as I know there's no such thing as a genital transplant

Completely blacked out. I went from killing zombies to being taken out of my room on a stretcher. It wasnt like waking from a nap either, i felt like i blinked and i was concious. L4D was not the cause so keep killing zombies :)

I was taking 1 mg of klonopin a few times a day. Some days i took 2 pills twice a day, depending on anxiety levels. The reason i had a seizure was due to stopping the klonopin suddenly and continuing the welbutrin.

There should be though, at least from a rejection standpoint; testes are immune-privileged

Are those anxiety meds popular in America? Cause I know there's quite a few people here taking them, while I personally do not know anyone taking those.

Is it to prevent spontaneous panic attacks? Or low self-esteem, shyness, something like that? Excuse my ignorance.

I'd sure be damn anxious if medicine that's supposed to help me, caused a seizure.

Benzodiazepines have literally skyrocketed in popularity in the 00' era, primarily Xanax (alprazolam) and Klonopin (Clonazepam) they're muscle relaxers and calm your nerves. Doctors used to prescribe Valium for severe anxiety but with the commercializing of less intense benzos you get Alprozolam/Clonazepam. That's not to say they're not equally as addictive and dangerous. They're very popular and valuable street drugs these days as well. (resold commonly like adderal, morphine, vicodin, oxycontin etc etc)

They would never, ever, be prescribed for self-esteem, shyness or depressions issues alone as they're addicting, narcotic class drugs. Panic attacks and severe anxiety though, yes.

Diazepam (Valium) is a good example of a benzo that had a lot of public attention before Xanax or Klonopin. It's had a lot of press because it was (and continues to be) used by soldiers in some countries. Largely for medical purposes though, not like in Metal Gear Solid where he injects the shit so he can steady his aim with the sniper. Using Diazapam in the battlefield would be a seriously bad decision as it impairs judgment and dulls reflexes.

I find Bill's AI stupid as hell. Once a hunter had pounced me and Bill was standing next to me, Bill didn't do anything and I died.
