They still have to make it, the day that they ship it is on Nov. 15, i read somewhere, but some people must have "Advanced" Copies
Nah, it would suck, lots of people have things planned to play hl2 on Nov.16

Well if history has taught us anything there's always always always a bunch of people who get the game about a week/days before release.

Its all depends on FedEx or UPS. Sometimes they come in early if FedEx or UPS gets them a day or two sooner. I think HL2 will come in a day earlier and people who have pre-orders will get them first before everyone else and its a long list.

But even if you get it early, you will need to have Steam to validate it right? I'm guessing that Valve won't allow validation until release date.

As if VAVLe would violate contract obligations with VUg and get sued into the stoneage just because some game store violated their agreement?

Exactly. Even if someone got their hands on an install disc, nobody is playing HL2 before Nov 16th. I will bet good money that there will be no warez release until Nov 16th because of this.

I actually doubt this will happen to Half-Life 2(I just know it's being warezed this very moment if it's gonna be warezed before the release, I've got the curse of irony). I also noticed something about Fluke's title; shouldn't it be Antlion instead of Ant Lion?

No chance any retail store will sell it early , they shouldnt anyway, Valve are stupid if they let this happen ad should and hopefuly will fine any store that do this
