Every day I walk past teenage girls and I think 'Can your damn skirt get any shorter?' It's alright (I suppose, *rolls eyes*) because most of them are an appropriate (cough) age, eg 15, 16. but it makes me feel ill when I see a little girl of about 5 or so wearing a mini skirt and a tank top. Why the hell would any parent let their child dress that way at that age? Its like a peadofile magnet.

Does anyone else get annoyed by this? What do you all think is an appropriate age to start dressing like that?

Never. :P

Mandatory military training for boys and girls starting from 14 would be good.

I second that!!!!!! No more skanks or himbos!

For world peace!

wait.... nvm.

For morality and order!

I've always thought it was self-degrading, because there is no point in dressing like that unless you want someone to be physically attracted to you. In that case, it's the body that is intented to attract, transforming immediately the person in question into a sexual object.

Good job.

True. It completely sends the wrong message. Theres really no feasible reason to dress like that.

Seconded+QFT

...what, Shippi, in a play sense? Or all the time?

Younger girls dress like that probably because it makes them feel or even may make them look older. Its the same story with make-up.

Depends on it, if thats the message the girls want to send by all means, I don't find it degrading or slutty for males or females to want to have a lot of sex, and if they want to show their body, by all means. But I don't like hypocritical guys or women, who then bitch about guys checking them out.

As far as little girls go, I don't know. I never really looked at it as a pedophile attractor, I thought they looked like powerrangers, but I guess it does attract pedophiles, and parants should be more careful.

this thread is creepy ...as a father of a young child it freaks me out to no end that someone may wish to abuse my son or other children in general

that said I think it's more than just a short skirt that's at fault here. I cant begin to tell you the pressure from other kids/parents to dress your kids in clothes that mimic adult fashions. It's almost impossible to buy an article of clothing that doesnt have some logo somewhere on it. Parents feed into this by making their children little dress up dolls that reflect the cultural status of their parents. "Oh so and so has an Eddie Baur stroller that cost $800, let's get one too" ...I see it everywhere ...thankfully my wife and I arent that kind of parents

I hate fads, and name brands.

Nike? Eat shit.

Unless they're actually good, surely?

I don't have a particular problem with it but I find it a bit silly...personally I find it more attractive if they're just wearing normal clothes rather than going out of their way to be overly sexy/sluttish. Maybe it's just me but you don't have to be risking hypothermia to look sexy.

Young kids wearing that kind of thing is, erm...weird. 0_0

I agree totally, i think it is extremely innapropriate to be dressing that way at such an age. Not to mention demeaning to the person in question, despite their intentions being otherwise.

Good, yes. But when companies up their price two-fold just because it's got their name on it, it's gone too far.

And aswell little kids goining around with t-shirts saying Porn Star In Training and that kind of stuff. So they(or their parents for that matter) not know what that f*cking well means?!

Also, those pants that have "Sweetie" or "Hot" written across the butt. C'mon.

Dude, shh. All my girlfriend wears is miniskirts in the summer, and she loves them almost as much as i do. But, when the kids are 14 that's a bit much. Kids these days are growing up so fast. Cell phones and ipods on everybody, miniskirts and flip flops on the 7th graders, tshirts that read 'sperm dumpster' when will it all end?!

Hehe Bash.org for perfect replies!

Woman: Oh, no, no, no! Just because I am dressed this way does not mean I am a whore.

Dave Chapelle: Well, you are wearing a whore's uniform.
I just watched a rerun of some of Dave Chapelle's standup comedy yesterday... and that quote is perfect for this thread.

Without skanks or whores, or drunk fathers that come home late and make advances at their daughters, the porn industry would collapse

You know what really grinds my gears?

This "Lindsay Lohan." Lindsay Lohan with all those little outfits, jumping around there on stage, half-naked with your little outfits. Ya know? You're a... You're out there jumping around and I'm just sitting here with my beer. So, what am I supposed to do? What you want? You know, are we gonna go out? Is that what you're trying to - why why are you leaping around there, throwing those things all up in my, over there in my face? What do you want, Lindsay? TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT. Well, I'll tell you what you want, you want nothing. YOU WANT NOTHING. All right? Because we all know that no woman anywhere wants to have sex with anyone, and to titillate us with any thoughts otherwise is - is just bogus.

Dress however the **** you want, whatever you like to wear. It's your own choice. (or your parents)
