I remember when Attack of the Show was The Screen Savers, and actually watchable

I miss Leo Laporte.

I miss when Xplay had charm and wit, instead of trendy clothes and rehearsed lines.

There was no merger. It was a massacre. G4 is now just Spike TV on a different channel.

I don't think you have watched Xplay in a while. They've stoped with the constant jokes and it has more content. Like interviews with developers and people that work in the games indrustry. I do miss the jokes though. It's on a daily now which is really cool. And what's wrong with AOTS being news. That's a good thing. btw it's tech news.

I would not have any problem with AOTS if it was a separate show, but The Screen Savers was effing awesome.

It was all great with Leo and Pat with his kilt. Then Sarah, Kevin, Martin, aka the interns came on to make it more trendier to the younger generation which led to SpikeTV. They even started pushing with the whole LAN/Gaming thing. I only watch AotS for DVDuesday, but I watch X-Play a bit more now since the show's alot more informative now... even though you clearly see them reading from prompts and they're pretty much humorless pricks now.
