p4 3.0c, i just listed the products that will cause the most noise,

i saw that fanless psu from zalman a few weeks ago, is that any good? i have a p4 1.6 right now, god dam there is this get engine sound coming from my case, i dont konw if its the hsf or the psu fan, but theri way its making a lot of noise for only a case with 2 fans in it. think of one with 5 + 2.

i checked the hsf is running at 2500rpm, not even fast to make noise, but i cant tell which it is. so i just want a quiter system than what i have.

gorrilaunit, are they loud? im goona get 5.

I picked up Antec's Sonata case a little while back and love it. Very resitant to sound, quiet PSU with fan controllers, and rail mounts with rubber vibration dampening. It's good for the cash along with a classy look, and is pretty darned quiet.

If you want virtually silent you could look into the case that Voodoo used on their new machine. The case acts as one big heatsink with heat pipes going to the CPU, GPU and other stuff. I heard you could buy the case alone from the manufactures but it's like $200+.
