I dont know that is what is driving me nuts I have found nothing in that area! all the online pictures are black in that area. I will have to continue my find after the super bowl but I think it is going to be hopeless!

He is right. Area 51 is an air base. It's a consipracy. They were testing a balloon spy device, made from light weight materials during the Cold War. Latest technology. It crashed and some guy thought it was a spaceshuttle. The military took it back to Area 51 and people thought they got a alien space shuttle and found an alien in it.

It is just an air base. It's a conspiracy about aliens...

I think it's just an airbase or something military related that wanted to be censored. (Like Short Recoil said.)
 
well I was trying to think of a smart remark for this post but nothing comes to mind when I think of someone burnning their hand.
 
either photographed and not included or not photographed, but why not photograph two blocks randomly in the middle of nowhere,... il give a cookie to anyone that can find HAARP in Alaska.
 
Maybe it's possible a satellite just hasn't taken a picture of that area yet for Google Earth...

I think he's right. Look at the edges, its at an intersection...its like they just didn't take a pic far enough over, probably just a simple error.
 
Well it might be that they just removed the pictures. That would be the easiest method of censoring the area.

If you click the Google Earth Community and Google Earth Community (unranked) layers on in Google Earth, you'll see that other people have labelled it as 'secret place' and 'censored'.
 
If you then left click on those icons (you have to be zoomed close to see them) the app will take you to the forum discussion page, where various theories are posed :)
