I'd keep the money and donate the black bag to salvation army.
The chances of finding the original owner would be slim...
Indeed, I also would agree $100 is nothing to scoff at.You have the most fantastic sense of empathy.
Jesus wept, just because $100 doesn't mean much to you doesn't mean that everyone else feels the same way. $100 dollars for me would mean about 4 weeks worth of food...if I had dropped it by accident I'd be quite upset about it and would hope to god that someone handed it in.
Well, if you're paying for friends, maybe. That's dinner and a movie. Whoopty friggen do.
Either that, or to keep the neighbours at bay, try weeping over the new sports car shouting "Why did I buy this?! I Can't afford it!!"
Well, if you're paying for friends, maybe.
Dinner in Boston for two = ~$60+ (If you don't go to some shack.)
Movie = ~$30
Well really this black bag would be in Wales (where I live and don't move from), and so owned by Welsh gansters. Most they would do is call you a 'batty boi' and leg it back to their parent's houses.Unfortunately drug barons would notice 100 grand missing. If they caught up with you, you could probably kiss your kneecaps goodbye.
No place around here does dinner for $30/person unless it's some crazy place where people have to dress up to go eat. I think anything above $9/$10 is expensive, and $6 to $8 is a good price for dinner.
Also, movies are under $10 per person. Maybe $8 or $9. I don't go to movies that often though.
Prices might just vary based on location though, like cost of living.
Massachusetts is the second most expensive state in the union behind CT. We also have the highest "price of living". Not to mention Boston itself.
Find dinner for $6 a person at a decent place, and I'll treat you to it.
Ahh, crazy. I never quite understood cost of living differences. Do people living in expensive states just get higher wages or something?
I'm guessing your local McDonalds cost $4 for a double cheeseburger?Dinner in Boston for two = ~$60+ (If you don't go to some shack.)
Well as a result of the higher cost of living, we also have the best health care coverage and best public and higher education etc.. Most of the stereotypes and large problems that the United States as a whole has, don't often apply to Massachusetts or CT.
EDIT: And we have JNightshade. Pwnt.

Anyway I would probably keep it but hey wouldn't we all.
Heh. What's so funny about that? :-P And why'd you sig it?
Cost of living here = low
Wages here = low
If $100000.00 was dropped in a bag on the floor the owners probably diden't give a shit about it to begin with.
Ahhhh you live in here. I always wanted to go to here. How is the weather over there?
Because I can not find anything better to put in its place so yeah. I will take it out if you want :bonce:

if it was 100 bucks, i might keep it
it its 100,000 bucks, i would give it to the police
Yes you can..
Wait a sec.. why would you want to buy a BMW?
You put it into the bank, then use your bank card..
That would be silly. I'm sure the government would like to know where you all-of-a-sudden got 100k from. What I would do is place the 100k is a safe and secret hiding spot(a safe, maybe) and spend a little at a time. You don't want to make yourself too obvious or suspicious.
Some people might be curious where you got it... but the government wouldnt. You could just say a friend gave it to you, and never say who exactly. They couldnt do anything.
Unless someone reports it stolen.
