let me know if you like this idea that i have no idea was touched on or not

This idea is a movie I doubt was even created or it may be a book that may have been out there but have no idea so give me some feedback if you have heard of it
-------------------------

Era: Middle Ages (Crusades/Black Plague)
Character Types: Humans, Zombies
Actors: Gerard Butler, Mickey Rourke, Mel Gibson, Sarah Polley, Ving Rhames, etc

So basically a large scale plague hits the nations of Europe during the Middle Ages and once dead from the plague the humans arise as zombies and the rest of humanity has to don knights armor, use castles/moats/catapults from the seige, and its very dark and bloody. Me thinks this would be an awesome way to spend 2 hrs at the theater.

So whats your idea of a good movie/book that may or not have been created??

I think everyone should just get over zombies already.

I think we should get over movies.

I mean, who likes them anymore?

And to think I came to this thread unzipped and all.
Sheesh.

not until a zombie movie gets an Academy Award will people stop making Zombie movies. Zombieland was a step in the right direction, but i'd love to see a more serious one made

>serious
>zombie movie

We are far beyond the point of zombie movies being serious, parodies or movies that have a sense of humor about the genre or how it's a cliche are the only things that will sell.

Oh, I like the idea of zombies. I just don't like how everything lately is becoming about them.

The WWZ Film adaption could be one of our only hopes for something decent.

i feel like zombies are getting a bad rep...every single zombie movie involves blood and gore so obviously people are going to develop a strong bias against them. if the public would simply portray them as they are when not killing and eating people we might be able to part from this lonely zombie theme.
