Erm, you do realize that you don't have to drink right??? ****ing high school peer pressure drama! If you don't want to drink, don't... It's simple. If you're doing it to fit in, you're not going to get far. I really don't respect people at our school who go around saying shit like "man i took ****in ten shots, I'm the man now dawg!"

If you're going to drink though, DONT FUCING DRIVE! I've already lost a friend to drunk driving, so I get pissed when people do stupid shit like that.

Also if there's a pool, don't get drunk and go swimming. That's how I lost another one of my friends, and my sister lost a friend like that also.

I guess it was sensible to try to get some knowledge about alcohol first. You shouldnt drink just to get attention. If you went to a party, brought the same party attitude, but didnt drink, you would be surprised how many people would respect you for that.
 
I don't think it's people saying drink to be cool. I think the awesomeness of being drunk at a party is so awesome hat it's what people will give you advise about, because it's the most significant thing.
