This photo of the asteroid Lutetia is one of the closest views ever of the asteroid. It was taken from a distance of about 80,000 km during a July 10, 2010 flyby by Europe's comet probe Rosetta.

You can see Saturn in the background....looks awesome! This asteroid is 62 miles across!

I was more focused on the X-Men/Heroes/whatever bullshit of humanity advancing to the next "stage" of evolution in a way that is immediately observable. Because I'm sure natural selection necessitates the ability to freeze objects or walk through walks for the survival of the species, lol.

But now I really am thinking about it too much. Besides which that image is dumb and didn't even specify how the people were changing (I don't remember any mutated humans in Pokemon, unless you consider blue hair a mutation ).

See the real issue imo is that people have it in their head that evolution is either
A: Monkeys slowly "changing" into humans over a long period of time
B: ****ing X-Men
or C: Either of those but with the expectation that it will happen in a manner in which we'll be able to observe it firsthand.

To any who believe any of this, natural selection as a theory, not to mention mother nature as a whole, has never concerned itself with helping a species thrive as it only needs to survive.

Although I gotta say, X-Men are awesome.
