Hi I'm Krynn I'm going to over-analyze and criticize this picture just because it's anime.

The reason eyebrows are commonly seen through hair is because it's meant to emulate the fact that bangs of hair aren't completely opaque. But since drawing every single individual hair doesn't fit the style, they make whatever's behind it visible or semi-visible to express that you can see through the hair a little, like you would be able to in real life.

Hi I'm Krynn I'm going to over-analyze and criticize this picture just because it's anime.

The reason eyebrows are commonly seen through hair is because it's meant to emulate the fact that bangs of hair aren't completely opaque. But since drawing every single individual hair doesn't fit the style, they make whatever's behind it visible or semi-visible to express that you can see through the hair a little, like you would be able to in real life.

Hi I'm Vegeta and I'm going to jump to the rescue of every dumb piece of artwork that krynn over-analyzes just because its anime.

Maybe they shouldn't have invented an art style that prevents drawing of hair if they wanted to show eyebrows so bad.
