Imu!!!

:imu: definitally represents a IMU Gimblelock Assembly, I mean, I can totally see the Gyro Error Resolver from here.

The ostrich one is "emu". So where does this :imu: bouncy lilac thing come from? And what does it have to do with gyroscopes? Come on, no jokes people!

I thought the ****ing bird was an 'emu', not this 'imu' crap.

The question is, why did whoever that set up this forum put this pink bouncy thing :imu: in the smiley list, and call it "imu"

that looks purple not pink to me. actually more like lavender :imu:

Well seriously, if I had to guess I would say it's some character from a video game. Most likely a top-down RPG.

I think IMU's are one of the little creatures u collect in Sonic Adventure on the dreamcast.

Then again, Marge does suggest that Homer open up an Imu farm in that episode of the simpsons.

My guess would be, its some japanese creaturey thingy.

I can fly ;(

EDIT: And "YES" it does say CAN

Okay, as an Aussie I can understand the mix up between the Imu and the Emu (especially since those idiots spelt it wrong on their webpage).

Emu = Eem - yoo (Why do Americans always mispronounce it Eeemoo?)

Imu = Ee - moo, I guess.

The Emu is the big bird. Not that agressive, actually. The Cassowary is far more agressive and dangerous.

I have no idea what an Imu is. Looks like a bunny to me.

I have a feeling that they are both birds... or maybe they both are the same bird? I really dunno...

It looks like a combination of a bunny and something fluffy... I think we should ask Munro. Yees... Let's ask Munro!!

I've pet an emu before. Multiple times. They don't hurt.

I think that Imu must be some kiddie anime show, or some part of a Gameboy game..

You're going to end up with a really shiny conspiratorial if you do that...

A bunny?? ehufwehofwe (argh whats with the min 10 characters)

Apparently, it's to encourage each of our posts to contribute something to the thread.

Whatever...

Whatever it is, it's pretty cute :imu:

Guessing, I'd say it's some kind of rodent, say.. 5 inches tall.. and known to be kept as pets by Indonesians.. They can be quite bothersome, jumping on your plate in the middle of dinner and all..

jus kiddin

i know someone who was chased by emu once. they can get aggressive, and that claw can slash
