You people need to learn respect and what it means to be thankful for a group of talented individuals to dedicate their time to make one of the highest quality mods availible for the Source engine.

This actually makes me feel sick that people complain over one model.
And if Bungie ever did for some reason change their mind, we'd only have to change one model which already has concepts. Wow, no biggy there.

And if you are going to argue about the weapon models for the humans, please read before posting.. the modern weapons aren't the only weapons for the Humans.

ive said that many a time. around here, you criticize valve, they eat your ass, but so many of the community will destroy amateurs trying to make us good content for FREE!. criticism is one thing, but being insulting is another. mod teams don't post their work because they want every opinion in the world they are proud of their work and want to show it off. the criticisms that count aren't ever degrading, theyre inspiring. when you just bash someones work cause you hate halo, your showing your insecurity about a game that pwns half life 2 (oh yea baby i said it and i beat them both!)

its something about this community you don't see very much in others, prolly because of the elitist attitude of one of the best group of modders in any engine, but that gets ya nowhere.

If you guys want to pay homage to da great halo, then godspeed, I just hope ya got some permissions or bungee doesn;t care. Halo i barely played for one night, but halo 2 was amazing and entertained me for a couple months.

all the work ive seen is good, bout as good as you can get in source, but the gameplay when its out will tell all. 120 posts in this thread, definatly tells me alot about the fanbois mentality of other GOTY contenders

some of yuns need to appreciate the hard work these modders put in when making this stuff. any mod thats worth playing is thousands of hours of unpaid labor

And I'm not even passing judgment on your mod, I say put your time and effort into it, and regardless, what you've come up with is of merit. I'm just saying, what kind of mod team engages with morons on a message board. You had to KNOW beyond the shadow of ANY DOUBT, that if you were going to make a game that resembled the lurking behemoth that is the halo franchise in even the most minute and incedental way, that everyone with the ability to type the word "roxors" would come out of the wood work to offer his or her half-wit opinion. How could possibly not forsee this turn of events? You are going to get just as many illegitimately positive critiques as "OMG THIS RoXoRs My BraiNzOR.. zor... xor.." you will blatant flames, learn to route through the stupidity for the genuine critique.

That's entirely the wrong attitude to have. People don't need to learn anything - if they don't like your mod for whatever reason, then they can say whatever the hell they like about it. It's your job to convince them otherwise or ignore them.
Respect is earned, not automatically granted because you work on a mod.
