I've never been pulled into a sandbox game quite like this. I have GTA4, never finished it yet because I got bored... Then along comes prototype and I was hooked on it after just 10 minutes.

Seriously, go out and get it! There are a few things that could have made the game better, but the only reason they even come to mind is because this game is so damn FUN that I don't want to stop playing it:

1) More mission types
2) More enemy types (more super powered enemies would be cool)
3) More guns
4) Multiplayer

Seriously, this is the first game I'd ever consider buying DLC for. Coop + War missions would be badass!

Prototype is a rather fun game in my humble opinion.

After about an hour of playing, I found myself well on my way to overlooking the visuals & thus began to pay attention to the fun game play instead. Never before have I felt so like a God in a game, yet at the same time worrying about dying.

After the "Teaser" at the start of the game of whats to come, you begin to fully appreciate just what it is your character will be able to do in time, provided you keep an "Open Mind". I have not played Infamous, so I can not compare the two.

Regardless, Prototype is a fun game, provided you can see beyond it's dated visuals & reused textures.

I concur with this. inFamous....a PS3 exclusive wwith slow ass wall climbing, underwhelming electricity sparkle powers, and some street thugs. Wow...

Fair do's it has better graphics but thats because it isn't rendering an entire city of people, military and infected at a go.

Prototype FTW TBH.


As for Elizabeth Greene, the herpes on her face is kind of off-putting.

Edit: Oh and the herpes she has given to the city, thats some ****ing STD man.

Been playing Prototype for the past 3 days, started getting some awesome upgrades now. Love this game, everything is so much fun. It's rare for me to stick with the singleplayer for new games, but this one keeps is actually very good.
